Esta excursão de um dia inesquecível também passa pelo cenário de uma das parábolas mais famosas do Novo Testamento, o Bom Samaritano.
Our gide was very nice and told a lott, however the timeschedule is to tight and she continously had to push to be on time. If the pick up is better organised you don’t loose 1,5 hours that van be spent at the dead See and Massada.
Your scenic drive to Masada will be interrupted by a useless stop at a store selling lotions. Masada is wonderful but long. When you stand in the queue for lunch you will resent the time wasted at the lotion store. Dead Sea is also lovely but rushed for time. This tour is really about Masada and selling some lotion which you can easily purchase anywhere in Israel.
Trip to Masada seemed rushed and we didn’t get to see some of the best parts. I’ve been there before and was hoping to show my wife Herod’s northern palace and the southern cistern but not this time. Dead Sea was good. Is there a place that is closer to the sea? Nice job on the way back. The guide called it, possible flash floods. It rained while at Dead Sea and the rain caused a flash flood that nearly washed out road. Delayed about 2hrs getting back. Guide and driver did nice job keeping everyone informed and safe.
Definely think Masada and the Dead Sea are musts on a trip to Israel. Guide was very knowledgeable. I did find trip too many hours. If you’re adventurous, it might be better to rent car and do yourself.
Masada and the Dead Sea are a must see in Israel and this tour did not disappoint us. We had another great guide with Ithamar friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Masada is such an incredible site and so much history that it must be seen. We had the right amount of time to see it all. It is hot and there is walking so you need good light clothes and good walking shoes.
The Dead Sea was fun as well but be forewarned that there is a lot of up and down walking to get there and come back. The water is very hot not not refreshing and it stings the eyes for sure. It's something worth experiencing for sure and we had enough time as you can't stay long in the water.
Excellent day trip that I highly recommend.
This was an excellent day trip to Masada and the Dead Sea. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Time was allotted well and we did not feel rushed or bored. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts was that I had thought I was booking a large coach bus (the kind that seats about two dozen and has a toilet at the back) and instead it was a small bus that seated about a dozen. The bus was comfortably air-conditioned and had USB power sockets, however, as I get car sick, I prefer a larger coach with bathroom facilities.
We’ll run tour from pick- up to drop-off. Definitely recommend and would use again. Our guide explained everything including history of Masada, sites from windows as we drove, politics of the region without being political, and even best practices for preparing for the Dead Sea experience. We made two stops that weren’t advertised but added to the day: a sea level marker on the side of the road and the Ahava shop. Van was well air-conditioned and even had WiFi. We were a multi - generational group of six and all were very satisfied!
