This tour was probably the highlight of our visit to Switzerland/Alsace. The comfortable van picked is up from our apartment and later dropped us nearby because our street was closed in the evening. Because we were the only people who booked the tour on that day our guide, Christophe, was flexible enough to take a detour and even take us to a castle which was not on the schedule. We continued to 4 more villages and every one of them had something to offer (one was French Village of the Year 2017 and another in 2013).The tour included wine and cheese tasting and the guide let you set the pace and do the things you preferred, be it walkimg, shopping or eating.Highly recommended tour, would cost the same had we rented a car and went ourselves, but this was without the hussle as Christopher took care of everything.Natasa and Arkadios
Our day trip from Colmar was very good. We traveled in a comfortable mini van with Christopher who was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The 4 towns chosen to visit were lovely and gave us a nice look at the area. The wine tasting at a pretty winery was a perfect addition to a very nice day.
This was a great tour. Not only do you get to see the four beautiful villages of Eguisheim, Ribeaville, Riquewihr and Kayserberg, but there is a winery tour and tasting, plus a visit to a cheese cave with a tasting there as well. We had a great time despite some rain in the afternoon. Our guide Christopher was a wealth of information, fun and funny. This was a great way to see more of Alsace.
The tour was excellent. The tour guy Christopher from the tour company in Alsace is a wonderful , very helpful, sincere, friendly and energetic individual. He tried the best to explain all the details in every stop, He is very caring and enjoys what he is doing. He tries to make sure you enjoy every moment during the tour. I cannot ask for more.I would definitely recommend to friends and will mention to ask for Christopher if there is a choice.
Wonderful tour to see 4 Wonders of Alsace. During 8 hours tour you get the information on Alsace. The guide Christopher was excellent. Seems he knows all about Alsace. He provided with the historical information, showed the most interesting places. The tour is well planned. No minute was wasted.
We visited 4 villages: Eguisheim, Ribeaville, Riquewihr and Kayserberg. The most beautiful for me is Riquewihr. The lunch with Alsace traditional food was excellent. In Eguisheim there was the opportunity to taste local cheese. The winery Bott Freres is remarkable. It was
great to visit the cellar, to know about the technology of winemaking.
The proper way to visit beautiful Alsace is the guided tour. On your own it is impossible to see all these during 8 hours.
The weather was fine, warm, sunny. The minivan was comfortable, conditioned. The guide provided with coffee an WiFi.the tour was wonderful! Thanks! Tatiana N.
Picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel.
The villages we visited were lovely and we were allowed to wander around at our own pace.
I think Riquewihr was our favourite.
Wine tasting was enjoyable.
Our driver/guide Max was friendly.
It is expensive for what it is but I think the high cost of taxi's in Alsace reflect the price of being driven around all day.
The vehicle was roomy and comfortable.
I'm glad we did the trip, I enjoyed the day and I have some great memories and photo's of the day.
