We really enjoyed the salt mines, loved the chapel and carvings, magda was our guide and she was lovely, the only down side was having to wait for 45 minutes for our bus to return surely given that you are dropped off and they know how long the tour takes the bus should be there for you , I would recommend this tour but be warned there are 800 steps and a lot of walking
This is must see in Krakow. We were transported to the site in a clean and new minibus then were hand over to the site’s certified English guide. The salt mine was totally amazing and the guide was informative. Worth the price.
A not to be missed experience in Krakow at The Salt Mine. Our guide Sebastiana who we met up with at the mine was very informative and funny during our 2 1/2 hour visit there. The half an hour to get there was in a small minibus comfortable and arrived on time.
really great. tons of walking so be prepared. a gem of an idea in Poland, too bad the tour company forgot to pick us up. the bus driver never showed up to get us after the tour and it took them over an hour to get a new driver. from 8-9pm we were standing outside in a dark parking lot waiting for a driver who refused to answer apparently.
Wear some comfie walking shoes for this tour. You will walk down multiple sets of stairs to reach the first level of the mine and continue to walk on uneven surfaces. That being said, the mine is very interesting; it is incredible what can be done with salt! You have to see it to believe it. Definitely worth a visit from Krakow.
