Passe Lake Mead e a Reserva Indígena Moapa.
  • Visite o centro de visitantes do Valley of Fire State Park e compre produtos duty-free na Reserva Indígena do Rio Moapa
  • Recolha e entrega no hotel incluídos

Best... Hike... Ever

Thought we'd be walking along a flat desert floor with an occasional boulder to clamber over... Wow, were we surprised! First, each person was given a small technical backpack, 4+ bottles of water, and snacks. Then, we started out on what would be nearly 4 hours of: walking along sandy paths, but also hiking more rugged terrain; descending into corridors of towering, 10+ story rock formations on either side; climbing up onto those rock formations to breath-taking views of the entire Valley; crawling into caves - and out again!; scaling rock faces; learning some pretty awesome history - natural, historical and pop culture for the area! We are merely novices, having done some rather basic to intermediate hiking with our sons' Boy Scout Troop over the years. And this hike was perfect for our skill level. It was comfortable, but it was also challenging to what we would consider our limits. Although we were tired by the time we returned to the parking lot, we would NOT have changed anything about the hike.
Great hike!

Our guide, Sarah, was friendly, knowledgeable and fun! We did the moderate hike offered which wasn't too hard or too easy. A very nice way to spend the morning. Great views! Would definitely recommend. We will hike here again next time we're in Vegas.

I chose the difficult morning hike. Originally I wanted to go on Saturday morning but nobody else had signed up for that day and I was not willing to pay 35$ extra to ensure that this tour takes place anyways. Luckily they immediately offered to change the date to Sunday where some people already were signed up so the tour was guaranteed to take place. Our tour guid was Sarah and she was very nice. The hike itself I would not really rate as difficult (except for one short part of the trail when we climbed up onto the top of a rock) as I did not really get out of breath or anything (but I am not an avid hiker, just a moderately fit person I would say). But the hike did lead to some very beautiful spots! (Slot canyon, on top of a rock and more). Since I was travelling Solo it was very helpful that Sarah also offered to take photos of me, so I still got cool pictures. The rest of the group was also very friendly. Only thing not so great was I was told I was going to be picked up at 5.50 in the morning so I was outside at 5.45 in a really not great area (was staying at a cheap hostel). After hearing what sounded like gunshots to me at 6.15 I got a little scared and called the tour operator. He was happily agreeing to calling me when the pickup van was close so I could go inside again. This problem was really very specific to my situation because I am assuming most are staying in a safer area. Also it was good to go that early because of the temperature and when we left there were a lot more people in the park already.
This is Not the Strip!

My husband and I are so glad we booked this hike. Not too hard, not too easy, about 5 hours from start to finish with the drive included. BREATHTAKING views! Our guide, Sarah, was awesome. We definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the strip. You won’t be disappointed!
Amazing tour with Yvette!

I'm so glad I went on this tour for the Valley of Fire! I chose the Intense/Difficult option since I'm an avid hiker at home and was very satisfied with the level of intensity of the hike, as well as the knowledge of our guide Yvette, and the scenery we got to see. Not only were we hiking, but we climbed some rocks and navigated through different spaces you wouldn't normally know how to do or where to go. I don't normally like guided tours but this one fantastic and actually a highlight of my trip to Las Vegas! Would highly recommend the morning tour since it is not as hot, and there are less people at the park so you feel like you have the whole place to yourself!
Absolutely worth seeing!

Great hike through the Valley of Fire. Moderate level was easy enough. Small group. Would have enjoyed introductions to all members that were participating so that interaction was more encouraged. Easy and flexible arrangements with tour operator. Clean, comfortable van for pick up. BEst part of VEgas!
