Chef Dominique welcomed us to his home which is not in the center of Paris as promised easy to reach by Metro but at least a 30 min transfer ride. He is charming, fun, and knows his way around food. We were the only two present. Presentation and opportunity to participate in the recipe-making was basic and pleasant enough but we felt something was missing for the price we paid. Maybe a glass of wine when we ate our meal would have been nice.

He was well prepared and had everything ready to go. He also did such a great job at explaining everything as we went. Highly recommend.
(Only thing is I'm still waiting on the recipes - can't wait to try them at home)

Our family group of 7 enjoyed this baking class. It was instructive and fun, and the results were delicious. It is quite expensive however, at more than 100/person for a 3-hour class. And 7 people is too large a group. Although we paid 850 for our group of 7, only the 3 children in our group did any baking the adults just watched there is not enough for 7 people to do in a small kitchen. In hindsight, we should have just signed up the 3 children 1 adult, but nothing in the course description indicated that a maximum of 3 or 4 is the ideal class size. One other suggestion is to make clearer on the Viator website the existence of and difference between alternative classes. I know now that there is this desserts class and also a macaroon class had I realized that before, we may have signed up for the macaroon class instead.
My granddaughter 7 yo and I took this class and it was a wonderful experience. Chef Dominique was a great teacher and since my granddaughter is a budding chef he let her do everything she knew how to do plus teaching us both new skills. The desserts we made were delicious and we have the recipes to make them again. This was a real treat for us to do together and I highly recommend this class for adults and children or both!
Frederick was great. Highlight of our trip. So much fun. Made 3 incredible desserts and learned a lot. His apartment was adorable and he was so much fun. Easy access as he lives right across the street from The Tube. He sent the recipes quickly and I can't wait to try them at home. Highly recommend!
Fabulous! Chef Marthe was great. Explained everything well, and followed up with e-mailed recipes. Left her class with lots of goodies. Would most definitely take more of her classes on our next trip to Paris.
