Um dia cheio de Aventura!

Quando eles dizem dia inteiro, eles querem dizer isso! Fomos apanhados às 6 da manhã e só voltamos por volta das 22h. Com isso dito, foi um dia cheio de avistamentos de animais, natureza e aventura. A comida no passeio também foi muito boa! Acho que vale a pena. Se você tem filhos pequenos que não conseguem ficar sentados por muito tempo, não faça esse passeio. A primeira metade do passeio é no ônibus.

Arenal volcano tour

The initial stops and coffee plantation were interesting and worth the trip. Our guide Harlem was awesome and very informative about Costa Rican culture and the sights along the way to the volcano. We actually stopped along side the road to see birds, sloths and monkeys that were spotted along the way. The zip line was okay and didn’t have the best sights to see and a lot of waiting around. The hot springs was an actual joke. It’s a heated pool at a public hotel and drinks were expensive. We were never taken to an actual volcano viewing point either, thought the volcano was awesome to look at from the zip line drop off and the pool. Time would have better been spent going to the nearby lake or closer to the volcano. The meals were okay and were at cheap restaurants that had no one really there. Could have done better with the food/restaurant selection. The ride home was long and completely in the dark. The day probably could have been shortened. The guide and first half of the trip were the main good aspects of the trip. The second half was a let down.

Our guide Gustavo Wong had a lot of knowledge and made trip experience fun. All the places were great and food was great.

We had SO much fun on this tour. The food was great, the stops were beautiful and the zipline was such an amazing experience. You get so much for the price, there was no other way to spend our day in Costa Rica. Highly recommended to anyone visiting.
A Solid A++ Tour!

This tour was a bit of everything and we loved every moment. It's a lot of driving but worth it for the waterfalls, hummingbirds, hot springs, ziplining, and sloths! We felt like we got to experience and see a little of everything. The ziplining was a rush and the hot springs were relaxing and enjoyable. The meals were incredible and we were offered many more options than I thought we'd be. I recommend this to absolutely everyone!

The Arenal Volcane Full-Day Combo Tour by Go Adventures was spectacular! Everything was planned out perfectly and perfected. We had Alex as our tour driver and he was right on time at 7:06AM to pick us up for our 14 hr tour. Very importantly, Alex dropped us off at 9:06pm - exactly 14 hours later! this is huge because we made many unplanned stops throughout the day to see wildlife and still made it back to our hotel in perfect time. Now onto the tour itself...
The tour was split into 2 sections. The morning was sightseeing and stops for shopping, the afternoon was for adventure and relaxation.
We started the day off with an overview of Costa Rica, the provinces and what their main export was from each province. We drove through the windy roads to a coffee plantation where we got to enjoy a coffee bean right from the fruit off the plants. From there, we stopped at some small local vendors and shops along the way where we could purchase fruits, wines, coffee, etc.
We drove by Poaz Volcano and Alex made sure to tell us when he would slow down and stop for a quick picture from the bus. We made our way to a picture stopping point near La Paz waterfall before lunch time. Alex showed us a cool mind trick with the water. We stopped for another snack break (all of these stops were complimentary) for sugar cane juice with lemon and a puposa. We saw a toucan and some other birds eating and the hummingbirds with a view of another waterfall. After that, we stopped by to see the iguanas before lunch time.
Alex was clear to ask us to speak up if we wanted to ask any questions. I told him I really wanted to see some sloths & wildlife if possible. Within 5 minutes we saw a group of weasels coming out from a hill on the side of the road. There must have been 20 of them! We then saw sloths quite a while later and we even got to watch one climb in the tree down the branches. We saw some red parrots flying around beside the sloth too.
Lunch was provided at a restaurant in La Fortuna and only 15 minutes away from Zip Lining. Due to the location of all of the sights, you weren't able to eat and then see something before zip lining to help it digest. It wasn't a problem for anyone on our tour but I saw a review mentioning this when doing our research.
The ziplining was a highlight for us! The course was excellent and took just long enough! The rapelling at the end was so much fun and really beautiful to see! The guides at the ziplining company even pointed out some howling monkeys for us on the course!
After ziplining we had a small presentation from an indigenous tribe. We must have been the last tour of the day as everyone was packing up. Afterwards we went to the resort for our hot springs. This was so relaxing and a perfect way to decompress from the ziplining while also getting you in a sleepy mood. After 2 hours at the hot springs, we pre-ordered our dinners and set out on a 90 min drive back towards San Jose for dinner.
Dinner was delicious and the staff was lovely. From there on, it was another 45 min - 1 hrs back to San Jose and hotel drop offs. The evening felt long with the drive as we were all tired, but after a long day, I was so happy with all my memories!

If we had time to do another tour on our trip, we would have done one to Poaz Volcano National Park for some hiking and a more comprehensive coffee plantation tour. For what we paid for and what we saw, I couldn't be more happy with this tour and our guide, Alex.
Excellent Families experience

It was a great experience as the guide Alex kept us informed and entertained throughout the trip. All the stops were very pleasant for the family. The waterfalls, the Zip line and the Hot Springs were super nice and entertaining. The meals were also very good. En Alex and the tour come highly recommended.

Very complete experience. Our guide Harlem and driver Christian were very knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. Zip-lining, hot springs, good food and a crazy huge gift shop! Very fun and we totally recommend it.

Plenty of stops along the way, they feed you well.
Zip line was exhilarating.
The the hot spa was a perfect way to end the day before a delicious dinner.
