We had a wonderful day. When I asked Komang to take us to a local market instead of the touristy “factory tours”, he took us to his village market. Fascinating! We saw much more of the real Bali, thamost tourists do. The lunch overlooking the volcano cauldera was so cool!Thank you Komang!
Started off with a bit of a rocky start after telling our driver, Wsyan, that we did not want to go to the factories etc. We asked this based on others' reviews indicating they were pressured to buy something. All we wanted to do was sight see. Ended up being a great day. Wsyan was flexible, gave us as much time as we wanted at each site. He opened some beers for us at the end of the day at the terraces. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting and trying to see a lot in one day. It is a private tour so tell them what you do / do not want to see!
Highly recommend this tour to get the highlights of Bali in one day. Putra was an amazing tour guide, full of local information and went above and beyond to help cater for our individual needs for the day. He was very professional, caring, on time and enjoyable. You can opt out of certain locations your not keen on seeing. As the day is jam packed of amazing sites I would recommend opting out of the jewellery and batik visits and spend more time in Ubud.
Our driver/guide, Made Partaya, was professional, polite and very attentive. There was a lot packed into the day tour. I would recommend this tour if you have limited time and want to see highlights of Bali. The one thing I would mention is that part of the tour consisted of going to see some artisans like weavers, artists, and silversmiths. I found that these were more an opportunity to go shopping. Our guide was flexible so we could choose which parts we wanted to skip. Since we were leaving that evening, the driver took us directly to the airport at no additional cost.
The tour was worth your money if you do not have enough time to spend in Bali. Ours was a full day activities and we felt that we've seen the best of Bali. We had a great time at the Holy Spring, the coffee plantation and the monkey forest . The lunch was OK but could be improved with a variety of dishes. Our driver cum tourist guide, Ketut, was a very nice and accommodating. We had to skip the Batik store since we found the prices too much for our budget and he was kind enough to bring us to a souvenir shop that was affordable.
As this was our first visit to Bali we opted to take a full day tour.
We were not disappointed and had an enjoyable day with Jo Jo from Bali Tour Driver.
Prior to commencing the tour we received a full outline of what was to be covered and as we visited each site a detailed explanation was also provided.
The tour was well constructed and though we covered a significant area in the 10 hours it held our interest. Driving was difficult for most of the day due to heavy traffic andour driver is commended for way he was able to keep to the timetable
The visit to the monkey forest was a highlight as we did not expect to be strolling on the paths with monkeys alongside.
We would be happy to use this operator again should we revisit Bali
We had an awesome day! Our driver Cepot was quite the character, in his yellow shirt and yellow car which we nicknamed the Banana Car! We were treated to a number of side roads during the 200 odd km journey, which offered an off the beaten track experience of local Balanese life. Highlights were.... everything! Especially enjoyed the Monkey Forest and the Coffee plantation. Only disappointment was the painting studio where we were followed around by the proprietor basically harrassing us til we bought something which we didn't. This was the only blip on a truly amazing day. Thoroughly recommend this tour and our driver Cepot as a great way to experience the real Bali.
The tour was well structured and informative and covered a big part of Bali. Weve managed to see many different villages, the people living there as well as get in touch with the local arts and crafts which was fascinating. The hosts at each location were very hospitable and shared details about their crafts. A day full with fun and adventure, would highly recommend to anyone. JoJo was a great guide. He did arrive right on time and never left us during the day. He shared a lot of interesting facts and information about Bali and even when in transit between the locations he continued to share new details about the villages we pass through, about Bali, the people, customs and rituals and so much more. We managed to learn some words and expressions in Balinese and our daughter and JoJo became best friends. At the end of the day we were tired but very happy and satisfied, our best day in Bali so far. Thank you very much.
Amazing trip with a great guide BAGUS! We absolutely loved this tour, there was so much to see and our Tour Guide, BAGUS, was so knowledgeable and helpful. It is a jam packed day, where you will go to a temple, see the rice fields, visit the monkey forest, see art work, see paintings, coffee plantation, waterfall and will have a lovely lunch overlooking a volcano.
Great value for money and was the best day trip we had in Bali!
Thank you Bagus for making it so special - we still chat about you today!
