Resplan
Efter upphämtning från ditt hotell i Taipei kör guiden dig i en bekväm, luftkonditionerad buss till Puli i Nantou-regionen. Stanna vid pappersfabriken Guangxing för en guidad rundtur och lär dig om den utstuderade framställningen av papper.
Fortsätt din resa till Sun Moon Lake. När du reser genom det natursköna området runt sjön, beundra utsikten över båtar som lägger till vid kajen och lyssna på den informativa guidningen av lokala platser som du passerar, såsom Tehua Village, en by där taiwanesiska aboriginer bor. Kliv av bussen för korta pauser vid bland annat Wenwu-templet, Tse-En-pagoden och Holy Munk-templet.
Ät lunch (på egen bekostnad) antingen i Puli eller runt Sun Moon Lake. Guiden kommer att ge dig förslag på bra lokala restauranger och matställen, där du kan njuta av en utsökt måltid tillsammans med de andra resenärerna. Bege dig till ditt hotell och njut av den omfattande anläggningen innan du spenderar natten där.

Dag 2: Sun Moon Lake – Alishan – Chiayi (B)
efter en kostnadsfri frukostbuffé på hotellet kliver du ombord på bussen och njuter av en vacker tur längs New Central Cross Island Highway. På den här turen på ca 2-3 timmar kan du njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över bergstoppar täcka med djupa skogar samtidigt som du passerar Yushan National Park.
Besök Alishan National natursköna område i Chiayi County för en rundtur till fots i skogen. När du promenerar längs stranden och över bron Sister Ponds med din guide får du lära dig mer om den tragiska historien om systrarna Tsou som enligt folksagan kastade sig i denna stilla sjö efter att de förälskat dig i samma man.
Följ guiden längs skogsstigarna under taket av mäktiga röda cypress- och cederträd. Lär dig de finurliga namn som getts till nästan alla träd, som "Tre själars pagoda", "Trädet av tre generationer" och "Xianglins heliga träd". Gå in i Shoujen-pagoden, parkens största tempel, och förundras över det utsmyckade gyllene altaret och tusentals upplysta miniatyrer i plast.
Din guide kommer att föreslå en restaurang i någon av städerna på vägen där du kan stanna för lunch (på egen bekostnad) och fortsätt sedan på en två timmar lång färd till staden Chiayi. Insup den natursköna utsikten över skogen längs vägen och ta några foton av natursköna byar som Fenchihu och Rueili medan du lyssnar på informativa, fascinerande berättelser. Efteråt kan du checka in på hotellet och vila upp dig.

Dag 3: Chiayi – södra filialen av National Palace Museum(B)
efter en frukostbuffé på tredje dagen beger du dig till södra filialen av National Palace Museum. Syftet med dess upprättande är att uppnå kulturell rättvisa mellan norra och södra regioner i Taiwan, och att driva kulturell, pedagogisk, sociala och ekonomisk utvecklingen i båda regionerna.
Södra Filialen av National Palace Museum kompletterar den National Palace Museums begränsande uppvisningsytor. Den visar aktivt upp en mängd häpnadsväckande utställningar för att uppfylla sitt uppdrag som ett museum för föremålssamling, forskning, bevarande, utbildning och utställning, samt för att främja fritidsaktiviteter som är kopplade till föremål och att delta i kulturell och kreativ verksamhet. I slutet av besöket får du transport till centrala Taipei.

Our tour driver David Chao is very good experience and a lot of knowledge about it.we can't go that place without joining tour.we have fun in the rain at Alisha.There are amazing view along the trip.First hotel is excellent and good service. we should have more time at the national palace museum will be the best of last day of tour.we got six place to see an hour.
If you have limited time in Taiwan, then this is the tour for you. You will see the best of the country side beyond big cities of Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake is marvelous. Alishan National Park is the most scenic landscape of Taiwan. On the way, you will see indigenous people culture, tea plantation, and others. The tour is small enough for interaction between tour guide and participants. I will highly recommend this tour to other travelers.
Great road trip to tour the central/southern part of Taiwan. I came during off season, so my group tour ended up being a private tour of me and the driver/guide. He was informative and friendly. Ample of free time to explore. Sun Moon Lake and Alishan Park were beautiful. I especially enjoyed the hotspring hotel at Sun Moon Lake. The 3rd day was a bit dull, as it was just the Museum and a lot of driving back to Taipei.
The tour guide, Walter, was really friendly, and had a good sense of humor. He was always there to help everyone in our large group make purchases and translate menus when everything was in Chinese. He took the time to memorize all of our names even though there were 27 of us and the tour was only 3 days long. He made sure to repeat our meeting times and locations several times whenever we had free time to make sure everyone had heard and understood. He also knew a lot about the places we went, and could give good suggestions about where to eat or what to buy in each location.
The first day was great although it didn't start out very smoothly. The tour bus went to the wrong Hotel to pick me up, and when I called them they made me feel like it was my fault even though I was at the hotel indicated on my voucher ticket. After that though, we went to Wenwu Temple which was absolutely gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the hike up to Tse-En Pagoda. We had many great views of Sun Moon Lake. The itinerary on the website said we would go to Guangxing Paper Factory, but it was replaced with the Puli Shaohsing Brewery, which was still cool.
The second day, I was a little disappointed. We spent more time on the bus than actually visiting places. The hike through the Alishan forest was beautiful, but I wish we'd have had more time to take in the sites. We stopped to see Shouzhen Temple, but we only had about 15 or 20 minutes to see the temple and look at the shops. I felt very rushed. Also, the bus rides to and from Alishan are very long and might not be great for people who get car sick because the road goes through the mountains so we were constantly swerving back and forth for a couple hours. The description on this website also has interesting stories behind places like the sister ponds, but the tour guide didn't mention anything about this while we were there. It would have been nice to hear about the history and stuff like that while we were exploring.
Day three did not follow the website's itinerary at all. We were supposed to do a walking tour of Lukang, and Visit historic temples like Tianhou Temple and Lung Shan Temple but we didn't do any of that. Instead we went to The National Palace Museum of Asian art and culture. It was really interesting and I had a great time, but could not help but feel like I missed out on the temples. I would have liked to see them.
Overall, I did enjoy the trip but I feel a bit like I didn't get what I paid for. The places we went to were extraordinary, and the hotels were nice, but we didn't follow the itinerary on the website and we spent a lot more time on a bus than I would have liked.
Sun moon lake and Alishan is worth going. Our tour guide was not very informative and thorough about the background and trip. It's unfortunate as we did not get to see much of Sun Moon Lake when we stayed at the most amazing hotel right at the lake. We had a fun group though, so that was cool.
Every trip must start and finish with safety. Therefore a big thank you to our Bus Driver!!!
What can I say for this trip. Just amazing. Our Tour Guide David was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humor and really friendly.
Yes, it is a tour with a lot of hours inside the Bus but the scenery and the surroundings during these 3 days were just unforgettable.
It is difficult to express with words what our eyes saw by visiting the Sun Moon Lake, the Alishan National Scenic Area, and all the magnificent Temples during our 3 day Tour.
The Hotels? The dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet at the Fleur de Chine and also the breakfast on the Nice Prince Hotel?
Everything was just perfect.
