Ben was great, very good knowledge of Accra. Ben was friendly and made the day enjoyable. Ben advised us of what price we should be paying at the local markets, which ensured a fair outcome for me and for the vendor. We met locals and were shown around many of the areas of Accra, with niche insider knowledge. Thanks Ben and Emanuel, we would definitely recommend.

Just OK. This tour guide came highly recommended but I felt like I caught him on an off day. Low energy, and not terribly interested in the tour. Felt like we were just checking off items on a grocery list as we drove around.

On day of the of the tour you told me my tour is the best you've done so far. So why this review. Anyway that's your opinion. This was an ok tour, not extremely engaging but also not bad. I appreciated that we had our own driver and not just going around with an uber like I read in some reviews. The tour through Jamestown though was really short and kind of a joke. I would recommend going to the places of this tour by yourself, it’s much cheaper and often they have their own guides anyway, like in the WEB dubois museum.

This was a great trip. The Makola market was mind bending and the history was full. It was a lot of walking, which I enjoyed. I only wish I had been warned that I was expected to spend money like a wealthy tourist, which I am not, I am a poor student here for an exchange. I ran out of money near the end of the tour and had nothing for the craft market. And that was even with skipping lunch. If you are to take this tour, bring around 1000 cedi for the Dubois center, markets, lunch, donating to local causes, and other transactions along the way.

This tour hits the key stops you need to visit in Accra. The guides took me on top of the arch right as a “parade” was coming through—it was absolutely magical. The artisan market was excellent. Be prepared to bargain. And the market market was just as intense as I anticipated it to be. I did the tour alone and felt the tour was very personalized for my experience and felt safe and comfortable entirely. I learned a lot of Ghana’s independence and democracy too.

I absolutely enjoyed my tour and I learnt so much about the history of Accra. Emmanuel took us to all the major spots in Accra - Jamestown, independence square, Makola market, Kwame memorial park and Accra art centre. Some of the spots were not opened as we went on a Sunday but he made sure we stopped to have a sneak peek. He also made sure to inform us about the history of each location and helped us negotiate prices at the art centre. If you have only 24 hours to spend in Accra, I'll definitely recommend this tour definitely a must do.

A good tour, but missing a lot of information

We enjoyed the tour. However, here a few suggestions for the organisers: - It would be good to give info while driving to spend less time out in the sun - I felt like a lot more things should've been included in the tour - like pointing out important government buildings, a stop at the beautiful mosque and the national theatre, mention of the National Museum of Ghana, a visit to Artist's Alliance Gallery, Gallery 1957, mentioning interesting places like the SkyBar25, a trip to the coffin workshop, talking about the architecture, and the country's economy in general. This would make a full day tour but I feel like a lot of info was missing from the 4 hour tour. - it would be great if you provided a small bottle of water for each tourist - keep on the aircon, it does cost in petrol, but we would've really appreciated getting into a cool car after every stop rather than getting into the hot car and waiting for it to cool down.

My tour guide was Emmanuel, driver- Samuel. The tour was a great quick tour to encompass the whole of Accra in one day. I had my 2 year old and was able to move around fairly well with her and the help of our guide. Emmanuel was very knowledgeable of the places we went and the places along the way on the road. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to hit all the highlights of Accra in one day!
