It was good to see the river bank, houses and pastures. The food was nothing to write about. Loved Hahndorf and would have liked to spend the 2 hrs that we were originally told rather than having it cut short by half an hour.

Hi Melissa I am not sure where you got the two hours from for Hahndorf as the Adelaide Hills Tour and River Murray cruise is never a 2-hour stop in Hahndorf as the cruise finishes at 2pm and we don't get to hahndorf until around 3 p.m. then having to return you to your hotel by 5 p.m. so generally a Hahndorf stop is a little over an 1 hour of free time I'm also sorry you didn't enjoy the meals because the vessel has great reviews over it's meals. Fresh produce is delivered to the vessel daily and the cooks and chefs prepare the meals each morning. Also the vessel caters for a large range of dietary requirements and has never had issue with dietary needs that I am aware of. The vessel purposely keeps it's meals simple as to be able to serve large groups over a relative short period of time so passengers can enjoy the river cruising and sights. The whole cruise is only over 3 hours with the staff serving the first two courses in the first half of the cruise. Best Regards Greig

Loved this tour our driver Paul was professional, friendly and informative. Loved that it was a small group. We enjoyed our short stops at Mt Lofty and Hahndorf as well along the cruise on the Murray, which included lunch with dessert, there was great commentary along the way. I would highly recommend this tour company. My only wish was for more time in Hahndorf, but we were a group of 4 ladies who do like to shop 😂

Lovely small group tour. Vesna was very friendly and accommodating. Murray River cruise was nice, but not as pretty as I thought it would be. Hahndorf was a very quaint little town, but we were only given 1 hour here which wasn’t long enough. All in all it was a lovely day out.

On this particular tour the highlight is the actual cruise and we can only have time for a taste of Hahndorf. To see Hahndorf truly you will need a half a day to see all shops and this can be arranged on a sightseeing tour. The part of the river that we are touring in Murray Bridge doesn't have those beautiful sandstone Cliffs we see further upstream but again the wetlands are amazing and River itself changes with each season.
