Enjoyed this tour very much. The sheep farm was interesting and like the three legged border collie that could still run and herd the sheep extremely well. It was sad to see the parts of Christchurch that are still in bad shape 5 years after the earthquake.

Pleasant surprise, very interesting learning about the different kinds of sheep and all the

work that goes into processing wool.

This tour was amazing! We enjoyed the tour very much, however, it would be even more perfect if there were more sheep in the demonstration!

Christchurch was a bit boring, lots of 'there use to be ........' about what had been in a spot befor the earthquakes. Terrible devistation. The sheep farm was fun, we got to try our hand at shearing a sheep!!!!

We loved the sheep farm tour. The owner was very informative and interesting to watch the dog work the sheep heard. Lunch was provided at the farm and great conversation with the owner. Not enough time at Christchurch since we had to leave the group to go to the farm. Would have liked more time there.

We stopped in Akaroa for one day while cruising New Zealand. The tour took us from Akaroa to Christchurch. The guide wasn't too knowledgable and seemed a bit disorganized. We stopped at the Botanical Gardens, but we were only given about 15 minutes to see it. A second tour guide met a small group of us in Christchurch. She was much better than the first guide. She drove us through Christchurch and showed us the destruction associated with the earthquake a few years ago. It was very interesting. The highlight of the tour was the farm tour. It was a very small operation, but the farmer couldn

We had a bit of a 'glitch' with overbooking at the beginning of the tour in Akaroa but Brian straightened it out and all was great. We particularly liked meeting Ivor at the sheep farm. He was great and the simple lunch was an unexpected 'treat'.

Thanks

The guide was new and needed more seasoning with directions. Sheep Farm tour should have been spectacular but was average at best. The hearding of the sheep was too short and in fact was just getting the into a pen that was close by. However, the demonstration process and viewing the machinery that takes the wool from the sheep to the end product was quite interesting. The farm needed a lot of TLC and that distracted from the event.

Christchurch tour was a bit disappointing as it is still pretty much devastated there. It was a long bus ride to get there as well. I think our time would have been better spent doing something other than riding all the way into Christchurch. There was about 30 minutes wasted as well with the drop off and splitting up of groups in Christchurch. The Sheep farm tour was very good and informative! We really enjoyed that!
