Amazing Experience

A must do experience. We fell in love with the views, the dog sledding and the dogs themselves. Being able to land on a glacier was just incredible. I recommend everyone who visits Alaska to come down and do this!
One has not seen Alaska unless you visit Dallas Seavey‘s Iditarod camp via helicopter!

This was one of if not the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Flying up to the glaciers and riding the dog sled was simply spectacular. We especially enjoyed getting to actually drive the dog sled! The dogs were super friendly and loving. They seemed to be enjoying themselves as well! The views were amazing. The staff were super friendly and did a great job with my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son. Getting to walk on the glacier and even taste the water (which was quite good might I add) was a true eye opener. Made me appreciate even more all that God has made. It is utterly amazing how beautiful His creation is!! On the helicopter ride, we saw a moose, a black bear with 2 cubs and other wildlife and the pilot was very helpful at pointing them out. My kids had a great time as did my wife and I. I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants to see and experience something truly awe inspiring that you simply could not see and do without a tour like this. All of the staff were top notch!

If you do one thing on your trip to Alaska, take this tour! Spectacular views from a helicopter, dog sled ride, holding puppies, walking on the glacier and filling your water bottle directly from the melt. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. This is a lifetime highlight!

Everything was amazing! We saw so much on the helicopter, the dogsled ride was fun, and walking on the glacier was unbelievable! This trip was the highlight of my entire trip! Shad my pilot made sure to show us as much as possible on our flight and Emily taught us so much on the dogsled ride!

This was the coolest thing my husband and I have ever done! The pilots were great, we saw 2 mother black bears with 5 cubs on the way to dog camp. The dogs were amazing, our musher was really informative and the sledding was so fun. The glacier walk was great too. I didn’t know what to expect but this was way more than I could have hoped.

It is the best experience we ever had in our lives. It is filled with cinematic views and gave a feeling that as if we were on a different planet. Helicopter pilot was very nice. People at dog sled also were wonderful. I recommend this trip.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Our pilot Christian was so nice and knowledgable. And wow! The views from the helicopter and the experience of landing on the glacier was thrilling! The dogsled ride was also incredible and the dogs were so sweet. And even our van driver Kevin helped to make this a memorable experience. All around, definitely worth every penny we spent!
Overpromised, Underdelivered

The dogsled portion was extremely disappointing. Not only was the ride about 10 minutes long, but we were told we would get to experience all positions of the dogsled (we specifically wanted to ride up front), but the guide never let us change. Instead, we stared at his back the entire time and could hardly see the dogs mush. We did not care to see the extra large porta potty makeshift huts the guides live in. The dog ride should have definitely been longer for the amount paid.

Highly recommend this tour!! Our pilot Steven was super cool and so sweet he made the experience so much fun and was super knowledgeable of this tour. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we are thankful to have had the chance to have this memory and have Steven be apart of it.

Just amazing, left us speechless. Dog sled guide was very friendly and we loved playing with the dogs after the run. The location is out of the world. The lower glacier landing is also amazing and the pilot was very friendly, he took several photos for us and we loved the safe ride. The Knik River lodge has a lovely restaurant and very fresh sea food. People could arrive early check in and drink beer at the restaurant or eat.

Helicopter was fantastic. Unfortunately we were not able to go to upper glazier and dog camp due to weather, however the glazier landing was great.
