What To Expect

Make your way to the Albufeira marina, where you meet the jet boat captain and crew. When you take off from land, the captain charts a course between Albufeira and Carvoeiro.

Along the way, see what the super-maneuverable jet boat can do, hitting high speeds, sliding across the ocean surface, spinning, and power braking. Slow down to nose into some of the rock formations that line the coast, and keep your eyes out for dolphins—a marine biologist helps spot the Algarve coast natives.

See, too, the famous Benagil Caves and Praia da Marinha, which was voted one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

This Algarve boat tour and dolphin tour concludes at the original departure point, the Albufeira marina.

We saw a lot of dolphins, had a swim stop. Also saw the famous Benagil Cave. Really great experience!! The boat was a bit too fast and shaky. We got a but scared at the beginning. Therefore one star shy:4/5:))

We had a wonderful time at the boat trip! Although the sea was very very choppy, it always felt very safe and the people on board definitely ensured everyone was okay. We saw many dolphins which was lovely, but unfortunately the poor weather conditions didn’t allow us to go inside the popular cave. I would definitely recommend the trip but do check the weather in advance - i say it’s best enjoyed on a calm-sea day!

Good weather for this Boat Trip. Took us to see the caves and places of interest along the shoreline during the 2 and a half hour trip. Disappointed that we never seen any Dolphins however we were made aware this isn't guaranteed at the start of the trip. Was sitting at the back of the boat so struggled to hear what the tour guide was saying as his microphone wasn't very loud. Also advisable to bring a jacket as water comes into and over the side of the boat during the trip.

Great tour of the Algarve

We enjoyed are experience in the caves and all staff where very knowledgeable going to see the Dolphins would of been lovely to see apart from I didn’t get to see due to everyone standing up I have a fear of water and the lady behind me did he did say for them to sit but no one did I feel this should be enforced more for our safety and should be told out loud when photos our been taken

Definitely worth taking this tour. We unfortunately did not see any dolphins, but I understand most of the time you do. The caves and coastline part of the tour makes it still worth it. I wished they’d circle the boat around a bit more inside the larger caves and a couple times along the coastline as the view looks different from a different angle. I’d have given it five stars if they did.

The narrator was knowledgeable and friendly and the coastal cliff views and caves were beautiful. The time spent searching for dolphin would be better spent cruising along the cliffs and exploring Benagil Cave.

The water was calm and the boat ride was smooth. Seeing dolphins up close and flipping out of the water was a great experience. Kept my expectations low because you never know what you might see. The boat took us into the caverns which I did not expect. The view was outstanding and next time we will book the barbecue on the beach. Went on this adventure in November. I recommend a jacket and sunscreen.
