Great trip and reasonably priced. We got to see lots of the Algarve that we wouldn't have seen. The kids (aged between 10-18) all really enjoyed it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and obviously passionate about his job. You could tell he really enjoyed it. 5 stars from us

Ruy was a superb guide. He was so kindly respectful and especially enthusiastic. Very knowledgeable about the geography and terrain. Not to mention his extremely talented language skills. This excursion was on some dirt and some paved roads through spectacular countryside. I can’t imagine any other Jeep tour could be better than this one. It was an exciting but not a wild ride!

Unprofessional guide with no passion or care

The tour began really well with our tour guide taking us through the rural roads of the Algarve. We saw fruit trees such as orange, lemon, peach, apple and nectarine. We saw carob trees and vines. Then we were taken to see a Moorish castle and a quaint town. In the town we visited a small shop with local honey and cookies which were figs stuffed with almonds and toasted. Those were really delicious. We also visited a small church. From there we saw a windmill. It was interesting and different. Next stop was to a spring to have a swim. It was beautiful but the water level was low and the water was green due to the lack of rain and therefore lack of water flow resulting in stagnant water. Still worth visiting though. We tried to swim but the stairs were very slippery and you couldnt see the floor of the spring. We had drinks and small pork pies there in the shade of the trees. The whole time tboifh our guide took every opportunity to text someone. Other guides walked around the castle with their tour and made explanations and photos. They took care of them as it is a treacherous walk around especially if you have kids with you. But our guide was not doing this. Our tour went terribly wrong when we left to go to a waterfall. Our guide took us on a hectic hike which had steep hills in the midday heat!! My mother who is 74 and without hiking shoes was struggling. None of us had hiking shoes!! He gave us no warning of what we were embarking on. We finally get to the waterfall and it was bone dry!!!! The walk back was hell. My seven year old son's nose started to bleed badly from the heat and the dry air combined. He had blood all over his clothes. Thankfully I had wet wipes in my handbag. I was panicking inside and faint from the heat myself. My husband was not there to help. It was myself and my three sons. My poor son was suffering all the way up the steep hills. The tour guide just abandoned us. He didn't try to help or give some encouragement. It was a disgrace. He was the first back to the jeep waiting for us and texting on his phone. Alot of the time he was on his phone texting someone and not giving us the attention or explanations we deserved or expected from the tour. We finally got back to the jeep.all feeling exhausted and faint! The guide took us back to the green spring!! For what I'm not sure. It felt like just to pass the time! Then he finally took us for lunch. The lunch was very average. I would have preferred to have ordered what we wanted and paid separately. The whole time our guide was not giving us the attention and care I saw from other guides around us. Who were offering to take photos and give more explanations. Ours was texting on his phone any moment that he could. I had to ask him to take photos of us each time. Eventually I gave up and had not many photos with myself in the photo with my family as I was taking the photos! Thankfully I asked to stop at two quaint stores on our way back. There I bought delicious carob cake and got to actually taste carob products which was great. You see carob trees all around but are not taken anywhere to taste the carob. I bought the local liquor made from berries only found in the Algarve and honey and carb chocolate. The ladies from the two stores were fantastic explaining the products and about the area with passion and charisma. Unlike our guide unfortunately. The guide then took us to a 360 degree view point of Albufeira which was pleasant but with not much explanation of what we were looking at until I asked to find out more. Again he was mostly sitting in the jeep texting. The beginning of the tour went well enough but it went terribly wrong from the waterfall visit onwards. The extra $200 I paid to make it a full day trip was a complete waste of money and time. I realky should be given a refund. We literally could have returned to our hotel after the first visit to the spring. The rest was an average lunch and just clocking up time. Our guide had no passion or enthusiasm like I saw in other guides around us. A real pity when we've come all the way from New Zealand (29 hours of flying) to visit Albufeira!

Claro que existe coisas no seu comentário que tem razão, tais como, com pouca chuva a agua nas fontes não corre como normalmente corre em tempos de chuva.
Mas ao moinho de vento, vilas tradicionais com comércio local onde se os clientes querem poderão fazer a prova de aguardente de medronho e mel de varias flores tais como mel de Alfarroba.
Quando fala em relação ao tempo, num Safari Full Day temos mais tempo para desfrutar dos locais e do almoço, e visitamos mais locias porque a rota do tour e mais loga.

Had a great time, tour guide was lovely and considerate of us, incredible value for money. Tour itself was great seeing the low key parts of the algarve hills through villages to fruit fields. Personal favourite was the spring!

honestly, by far the best activity we did in the algarves. Our tour guide was amazing, he picked us up from the train station and dropped us off into the town to make it easier for us as well as helped us get home to a different town. There were many stops and our tour guide was very engaging with us, taking us to the local market to see the fresh honey and figs etc. He accompanied all of us so we were comfortable too, if we needed food or a bathroom break. overall the jeep safari was amazing, we saw many sights and were able to see a different side to the algarves and all the fresh fruit grown! if there’s one thing you should do in albufeira, it’s this.
