Experience a piece of Amsterdam’s architectural history as you explore a 22-floor tower designed by Arthur Staal for Royal Dutch Shell. Learn about the massive renovation project that’s overhauled the local landmark from the ground floor to the LOOKOUT, a panoramic observation deck. With sunset tickets to A’DAM, you can visit between 6pm and 10pm (last admission at 9pm), with plenty of time to enjoy a drink at Madam, a chic, contemporary restaurant with floor-to-ceiling glass walls.
Start your trip on the “Goes to Heaven” elevator, which shoots up 20 floors in just 22 seconds with disco-inspired sound and light. Snap an unforgettable photo in the panoramic LOOKOUT, where you can pose with a perfect Amsterdam skyline as the backdrop (photo prints not included). See the history of Amsterdam come to life in a series of cutting-edge exhibits, or just watch sunset colors illuminate the Amstel River.
From July 28th, A’DAM also offers the Over The Edge swing experience: buy a 5€ ticket onsite, then strap into a secure, full body harness and swing far beyond the edge of the tower, soaring almost 984 feet (100 meters) above the ground.
