What You Can Expect

Amsterdam Canals Cruise Including Dinner and Onboard Commentary

Enjoy a 4-course dinner while enjoying Amsterdam lit up at night!

Head to Prins Hendrikkade in the city center for your 2-hour evening Amsterdam canal sightseeing cruise. Step on board and begin your voyage with a welcome drink of Kir Royale (Champagne with blackcurrant liqueur). Soak up the sights from the deck or the lower deck saloon.

During your cruise, settle in for a sumptuous 4-course dinner, paired with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. (See below for a sample menu.) Bringing along your children? No worries — they will enjoy a 2-course children’s meal, featuring treats like tomato soup and a hamburger or Frankfurter sausage.

Watch the sun go down over the city and glide past top Amsterdam attractions, including West Church (Westerkerk) and the Anne Frank House. Listen to the onboard commentary and learn all about Anne, the young Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis in the house’s secret annex.

Pass the Gassan Diamonds Factory, which has cut the city’s dazzling diamonds for more than 400 years, and drift by Amsterdam Central Station and gaze at its neo-Renaissance façade illuminated at night.

When your boat cruises past Bloemenmarkt, Amsterdam’s colorful flower market, step back onto dry land at the departure point, finishing your evening canal cruise.

We were very happy to be on the cruise, we did not expect such great service. The food was OK, but the waiter was always taking care of us, pouring drinks. There were three waiters on board, To take care of us, and the scenery was beautiful at night. It was a lovely evening. The whole team did a great job. Highly recommend it.

I was not expecting the quality of the meal that we had! Impeccably served, and delicious. The narrative of the city was great, and I'm pretty sure we went in EVERY canal there was! Champagne toast, and unlimited beer/wine. What not to like!

We really enjoyed this cruise. Located exactly opposite the ibis hotel at the train station, Go out of the train station and turn right and it's a good 5 min walk along the canal from there... over another bridge. You go down stairs to check in at a booth to collect your tickets and they give you a complimentary drink voucher if you are early, to have in the Lovers Bar upstairs. We sat next to a lovely Italian couple during the dinner cruise. The serving staff were very attentive with water, wine and food. The food was most enjoyable. The captains sense of humour along the way was great. Would highly recommend !

We arrived early for our first sight of Amsterdam - we all arrived from South Africa during the afternoon - the staff were very friendly and offered us a drink while we waited for departure of the boat. The food were delicious - of the tomato soup I could have drank litres! and the commentary gave us a feel of the overall city - thanks a million for a wonderful trip, with friendly young people running a streamlined operation. They were great.

totally relaxing excellent food and able to accommodate a vegetarian in groupand certainly plenty of wine a little tricky finding the place so build in some time for that
there was really minimal commentary which probably suited most people as everybody was with friends/fa,mily so if you want tour guide style information this may not be the choice
