The tour was very good and we enjoyed the windmills and countryside. The guide was knowledgeable and we enjoyed him as well. Only issue was that we booked a small group tour and they rebooked us as a 16 person max tour.

Phillip our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable, had excellent insights in too the inner workings of Windmills and their place in Modern Netherlands, we also spent time at small shop where they produced cheese and wooden shoes, and before returning to Amsterdam we made a stop at a Quaint little seaside village on Monnockburn to explore, a small group is definitely the way to go.

It was a very windy and cold day, but we were dressed well for it. Would recommend this trip, even though we saw the windmills from far as it was too windy that day. We did walk around the little village area, and the vintage shops were fantastic would loved to have more time to shop in them.

A super day led by EXCELLENT guide Rose! It was great to see so many cute and thriving Dutch villages on a single tour. The vehicle was a tad cramped for our group of eight, but all of the drives were short so not a problem. Rose gave detailed and helpful guidance at every stop, then we had free time to eat, shop and/or explore. The meeting place for starting the tour was well-chosen, and provided a scenic beginning to a very scenic and thoroughly Dutch day.

Awesome guide but forgotten his name, appreciate his hospitality. The places are beautiful.

We took this tour on Wednesday August 15th. Our tour guide, who has previously worked in a saw mill and had great insight, was fabulous and fun the whole time. He was very spontaneous and friendly, and we're so glad he took us to the Edam Market, instead of the cheese factory, as we were more interested in experiencing the culture and the surrounding beauty. I highly recommend this kind of tour and guidance for their flexibility and for a more personable experience!

Our Zaanse Schans windmills tour got off to a pour start when there was not enough room for everyone. We were told that one of the vans was broken. When our group of 3 and another of 2could show proof of booking date, the tour guide disregarded this. A group of 5 claimed to have booked in February but had no proof. The guide would not make any decision and left it to us. In the end, the group of 2 left and would get a full refund. This kind of disorganization was not OK. We then found out that the providers of the tour could not find the keys to one of the vans, so they LIED to us. Also, the windmills was more of a tourist trap, and cheese farm also seemed like an excuse to sell stuff to tourists. There was no real cheese making demonstration...only a description of the tools. They kept trying to sell us stuff. Finally, we thought we would be experiencing a Schnapps tasting in a distillery but instead we were given the Schnapps in paper cups outside on the grass in a small town...not very classy.

Rose, our host and guide, was great! She gave us plenty of time to wander around Zaanse Schans and Volendam, and had tons of great information on the places! We also stopped at a place that made cheese and wooden shoes, which was a pleasant addition to the tour. I wish it could have gone on longer! I must also commend the tour operators for picking an easy and obvious meet up point I missed out on two other tours I signed up for because the meet up location wasn't clearly defined.

This was the perfect amount of time to explore the Dutch countryside. I enjoyed each and every stop - from the windmills and cheese tasting/shoe making to the fishing village. The tour guide

Great small group tour with a very nice and informative tour guide Jon. Enjoyed the sights. I would have liked more time in Monnickendam and a little less time wandering through Broek Waterland homes. They were lovely but felt too much time spent there.
