My husband and I enjoyed our walking tour with Ollie. He was personable and informative. He did an excellent job of providing enough history so that we left with a good understanding of the city without overwhelming us with facts and dates, I would highly recommend this tour.
Nice point. Now we average 3km and seems enough for the majority of our clients. The most we can add now would be the canal district. The only way to really see a good part of the city is to take a bike tour. Or a generic walking tour that points out only monuments as they walk by. Our aim is to show you the intimate side of the three main areas of the downtown. Ill let Chloe Know you enjoyed her tour. And consider asking guides if they are comfortable with new routes.
Great experience! We learned a lot and laughed even more! Thanks Chloe! It was my first time in Amsterdam and this tour was a wonderful mix of history, learning about the Dutch psyche, and finding good places we want to go back to. Got us off to a good start on our very short time in Amsterdam!
MMM. sounds like you got a lot of topics in during your tour. Well we try and relate to our clients or meet some of their needs. I guess US was on the list of comparisons that day. Thanks for the review.
We only had 3 nights in Amsterdam so a walking tour with a local like Sean was the way to go. Sean gave us a very good historical background on Amsterdam which helped us appreciate the city's development and contribution to the world. His overall knowledge and anecdotes made this tour insightful and enjoyable!
Thank you very much. It is nice to write a response on my own behalf. I will try and stick with good anecdotes if my local friend keep sharing them with me. Its the exchange for living in such a great place. Hope you come back for another visit. Three nights is not enough time.
Chloe Bacon - provide us a very informative and well presented tour of a city that she now calls this her home. Original from the USA. This was a small group tour and this is the only way to do a tour. We highly recommend this tour by WOW tours.
