Very pleasant, informative, nice pace and great choice of a Cafe for a break. Artur did his job really well. Recommended.
My tour was fantastic. I took this tour my first day, and it only made me want to learn more about Amsterdam. I had a small group, so we were able to ask questions to our guide directly. He even provided some information on where to try great fries.
This tour is great. Tyler was extremely friendly and knowledgable!
Tyler the guide was amazing, went above and beyond our expectations, very knowledgeable and interesting. This tour was the highlight of our trip would strongly recommend and especially ask for Tyler as your guide.
We had absolutely the BEST guide. In a few short hours we were shown the lay of the land which was soooo confusing to help yus better understand all the curving streets and history and culture of Amterdam. Highly recommend rather than wandering around trying to figure it out yourself
Tour guide Arthur was very knowledgeable and gave great insight into Amsterdam, both its past and present. Only three people on the tour, so able to ask plenty of questions and go at our own pace.
The tour was terrific. Arthur was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Viator is not up to date on a few things though the tour operator has asked them to update their website info. For example the start/end spots for the tour are not correct. That did not detract from an entertaining tour!
Great way to see the city and landmarks in a short period of time. Our guide showed us cute bazaars and have nice restaurant suggestions.
This tour with Arthur was fantastic. It ended up being a private tour with two of us so we really got to know the city well and we’re able to ask a bunch of questions. We felt confident after the tour to go back to some places and gave a better look around. Great orientation to the city.
We figured our first morning would be valuable starting off with a tour of the city...and it was. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative of both the history and culture of what Amsterdam was all about. He pointed out many areas that could have been easily missed. He also educated us on the proper etiquette and traditions that would help with our stay in Amsterdam. This tour was a very great way to spend a couple of hours.
This tour was the perfect introduction to Amsterdam. The group sizes are small, allowing for the group to easily move around the busy streets of Amsterdam. There is a good combination in covering the history of the city, landmarks and hidden gems. Our guide, Sean, was very knowledgeable about both the historical and social elements of the country. Sean also recommended restaurants and other activities in the area. Super tour for anyone that wants to experience Amsterdam!
Tyler was an amazing tour guide---Greeted you with a handshake and was warm and friendly, proud of the city and also extremely knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam as well as sharing about popular/social culture. He seemed to also personalize the tour for our specific group. This tour was such a wonderful way to get the whole picture of Amsterdam. Highly recommend it an if possible at the beginning of your visit - Tyler thoroughly explained the layout of Amsterdam that will help keep you oriented for the rest of your visit.
our guide was Tyler and he was awesome. He was passionate about everything Dutch and the history, and he had a great sense of humour. The day of our tour was unusually cool, extremely windy and a bit rainy, so that made it a bit of a challenge. But Tyler tried to keep us out of the rain and wind where possible. If you have a layover between flights in Amsterdam, this is a great way to adjust to the change in timezones from North Amerca.
Tyler was an excellent guide, with just the right mixture of history and quirky facts. He didn't rush, the tour ran over a little to get all the places covered, and was a great help in getting our bearings round the city.
This was a comprehensive four hour walking tour of central Amsterdam. The group only had seven people so there was plenty of opportunity for asking questions of the guide, and for making some custom adjustments in the route to accommodate individual interests. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of life in the city -- history, architecture, local customs, food and drink, shopping, etc. Many suggestions were offered for further exploration. We also enjoyed a mid-tour stop for refreshments at our own expense , and bathroom. A wonderful introduction and overview of the city.
We 4 Canadians could not have imagined a more impressive insight into life in Amsterdam than the morning we spent with Camille. WOW! She had captured the true essence of her adopted city and was so proud to share. There wasn't a question we asked that she could not give an informative answer. Her bubbly enthusiasm kept us captive - she made it personal by sharing her favourite potato chip stop, cafe, those car free shopping streets, etc., etc..
We had previously been on 2 canal tours - she completed the inner city tour by navigating us to the top tourist stops - at every stop she added to our knowledge from those tours on the boats. We had noted a particular grey pub - we were thrilled when she took us to see her favourite being that one, and sharing its history as an inside story .
The only drawback we experienced was demolition had removed our meeting spot - although Camille sought us out, an email from your firm of a change would have been appreciated.
Our French guide walked slowly so the tour was not tiring. We know lots of interesting places. She explained everything in great detail. I really enjoyed this tour.
Are tour guide was brilliant, very knowledgable and happy to answer all our question
She did not rush we had lots of time for photos and a chat
I would strongly recommend this trip
Fantastic. Guide knowledgable and made the tour fun and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour. Saw a great deal of the city and our guide left us with many tips of further places to visit and how to do them. Thank you. Fantastic
Great introduction to Amsterdam. Would recommend booking this on your first day. The tour gives you an insight into the cities history and culture and also a great wexplanation about the layout of the city making it easy to get around following the tour.
A great way to learn how to navigate Amsterdam and learn about this beautiful city's history. Our guide Tyler was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and obviously loves this city. I was particularly impressed with the respect he showed at Anne Frank's house and when telling us other stories about the impact of WWII. We were able to see the main tourist attractions, but also spent a significant amount of time in the local neighborhoods to get a more in-depth perspective. At the end of the tour, Tyler made sure that we were all now comfortable navigating Amsterdam on our own and encouraged us to continue exploring. It was an amazing experience.
Excellent tour. Guide Sean was very entertaining and knows Amsterdam very well.
Great way to see different neighborhoods in the city and learn some of the history. Shawn was fantastic and enthusiastic.
Sean and Tyler were great. They shared lots of local knowledge and history, as well as interesting stories and tidbits about certain buildings, bars/restaurants, and houses that we passed. Saw many sites and neighborhoods in the old city, and it was a perfect amount of time, just over 3 hours. Great way to get your bearings when you arrive and get a great overview of Amsterdam.
