Right across the biggest museum of Amsterdam the Rijksmuseum we will depart. If you have your back towards the rijksmuseum, there is a bridge in front of you. I will be on the leftside of the bridge. On the right side there is a ticketoffice from another canal cruise company called Stromma.

Due a lot of traffic at the dock, I can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
Be aware, on the water it can be colder than in the street. Make sure you have a coat with you.
A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Ofcourse I will assist you.

When a lot of rain is predicted I will try to get a covered boat. This might impact the visibility, but keep us dry. On heavily rainy days, rescheduling or refunding is ofcourse possible.
I always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Aither direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.
The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise. Just contact me. And I can arrange that for you on a private boat.
Captain Jack is collaboration between friend. Captain Jack is not perse himself on the boat.
Depending on the route you will see an interesting selection of highlights of Amsterdam.

Nice trip along canals. Wine and snacks added to the ambiance. Only complaint is boat’s bow is so high you can’t see much! Jammed up to others made it difficult to turn and see anything on your side/back and had to look over those across from you. Views obstructed in every direction.

Captain James (not Jack the day I took the boat tour) shared many interesting stories and knowledge about Amsterdam. I enjoyed the ride and learned quite a bit. The only downside is that my hotel was close to the train station and walking to the tour departure/arrival site is a bit long. It is totally manageable but you need plan your time ahead if you are like me, If you stay close to the Rijksmuseum, it is perfect. The wine and cheese are very nice. I enjoyed my time. I wish I took the tour on the first day rather than the last day I was in Amsterdam. That way, I can revisit some places later on my own.

Beautiful introduction to Amsterdam

This was a lovely start to our stay in Amsterdam. Albert was our guide and did a great job explaining the sights as we saw them. The boat was prepared with all-things-Amsterdam: candies, cookies, sausage and cheese, beer and wine and water. We had a great time.

There were many memorable moments on this fantastic cruise through Amsterdam. We were dropped off at the incorrect depot by our taxi and were running a bit late, but the cruise director called and waited for us to get there. We appreciated his patience. We are in our seventies and were able to climb aboard with no difficulty. The wine, snacks, and company were delightful including the information shared by our driver. We could have stayed onboard for several more hours. Highly recommend this tour!

Very informative. Excellent guide. Small group made it more enjoyable than one of the larger boats. We were able to go through the lowest height bridge. Watch your head!
