Why Our Insiders Chose This Tour

What You Can Expect

Take one day during your Amsterdam stay to see other top attractions in the Netherlands. Board a comfy coach in central Amsterdam, and throughout the day, hear informative commentary from your guide.

Enjoy a 30-minute tour in Rotterdam, where your guide points out the experimental architecture that makes the city so unusual. Then, make your way up the Euromast sightseeing tower, 606 feet (185 meters), and soak up the peaceful panoramas of the city, the port and neighboring areas.

Next, watch artisans at the Royal Delft make Holland’s iconic blue-and-white pottery, Delft Blue pottery. During the hour tour here, learn about the earthenware pottery’s origins in the 17th century inspired by Chinese pottery. After your Royal Delft visit, spend an hour discovering the charming city of Delft, a great place to grab lunch (own expense).

Finally, pass through The Hague and gain insight into this historic city, home to the Dutch government. During the 30-minute drive, you'll see notable sights and landmarks including the Houses of Parliament. Your last visit will be the miniature city of Madurodam.

Your whirlwind Netherlands tour ends with drop-off in central Amsterdam in the evening.

Fantastic way to see a lot of Holland in one day but it is a long day and you are on the move all the time. Peter was a great host with heaps of information and history. Highlight was Delft and the pottery tour.

Tour was amazing. Really got to see parts of The Netherlands I never thought I’d see. I can’t even think of a highlight because it was all great. I guess I’d have to say the Peace Palace and the Delft Factory were the best parts.

Was very impressed with this tour. We had just enough time at each destination and our tour guide was excellent. We happened to take this tour on the same day there was a terrible windstorm. Our bus driver drove safety and our tour guide communicated well with us about the plans for the day. Because of the storm, Madurodam closed unexpectedly before we arrived. We were able to catch a glimpse from the reception area, but we weren't able to go inside. Our guide gave each of us a free drink in Delft because of this, which was appreciated. There is a stop in Delft for lunch, and my friend and I ate at the restaurant the tour group went to. This cut our time in Delft very short and the food/service wasn't very good. We wished we had grabbed food from the small marked that was in the middle of the square, and I recommend those taking the tour either bring a snack or grab street food to maximize their time in Delft. Overall, would highly recommend this tour. For just 100, we saw a great deal that we wouldn't have otherwise seen on our trip to Holland.
