Get to know Indonesian cuisine from a Dutch hobby-chef with Indonesian roots! In this special cooking workshop you will find out that Dutch cuisine can actually be very tasty, but of course only because of many Indonesian influences, which is the reason why Indonesian cuisine is an integral part of Dutch cuisine nowadays.
In this 3 hour cooking workshop you will get to know the fundamentals and essential ingredients and flavours of Indonesian cuisine, such as djeroek peroet, laos, trassi, tamarind and of course the famous chili paste 'sambal' and sweet soy sauce 'ketjap manis'.
After learning about the ingredients, you will learn step by step how to combine those ingredients and prepare a variety of delicious tasteful Indonesian dishes. Prepare yourself for a mouthwatering experience which will challenge your tastebuds!
