Stefka was a great tour guide. We visited Delft, cheesemaking and wooden shoe making farm, and windmills. The farm owner's wife was from San Antonio, Texas which made it fun for us since we are from Texas. This was a great day. I am booking this tour again for our trip in July.
We had a wonderful day with Stefka. She was very personal and flexible. We had asked to be shown places in Amsterdam that she usually does not cover, but she read up on these places and was very informative. She was able to fit in everything we wanted to see in a very relaxing and enjoyable day.
Had an amazing tour with the lovely Stefka..nothing was too much trouble. She came to pick up us from the cruise terminal which was super easy! Went to the Kinderdijk windmills and then onto Scheveningen for lunch along the beach which was a treat! and then onto Madurodam miniature world and last stop at a dairy farm to see how they make cheese, clogs and of course a bit of shopping. And were dropped off in plenty of time for the cruise departure.
I highly recommend doing a tour with Stefka..whos very knowledgable and super friendly. Thanks again for a lovely day!
We did a custom tour to Wageningen where our family immigrated from in 1660! Casper our friendly tour guide picked us up at our hotel and drive us to Wageningen. There we meet a delightful lady that was a member of the local historical group. She toured us around the "Old Town"! Best trip ever!!
Casper was an excellent tour guide. We went to a Deft pottery house, Rotterdam market and Euromast and the Hauge. He was personable and knowledgeable. Also a good driver! Would highly recommend
We visited the Clara Maria dairy farm where they demonstrated making Gouda cheese and the famous wooden shoes. Our tour continued to a historical windmill and a scenic drive through typical Dutch landscape of Beemster polder where the tulip fields were all around. We then visited the lovely town of De Rijp where we had a nice lunch and a stroll through the cobble streets that took us back in time. We also visited the Hortus Bulborum where they preserve 4,000 spring-flowering historical bulbs, since 1577. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Stefka. She was very knowledgable about the areas and planned a great day for us. Highly recommend this tour.
This tour was amazing!
We had such a wonderful experience booking our Private Driving Tour of Holland using Viator. Stefka was so quick and helpful with her email replies while planning our tour itinerary. Our tour guide was Caspar and he was nothing short of AMAZING!! Caspar was so professional, incredibly knowledgeable and fun! If you can request him- please do!
We started our tour early 8:30am to try to beat the crowds at Keukenhof- which is an absolute must if youre visiting while its open. The colors and cleanliness of that park is remarkable! After a couple hours wandering the tulip beds we took a drive past the colorful tulip fields and up to have lunch by the Sea try the Dutch Kroketten Croquettes! After a yummy lunch we drove to the Delft Blue pottery factory which was fascinating to learn about. The hand painted pottery is gorgeous and the history behind it is quite interesting.
We ended our tour at the Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory. Their staff there is very friendly and fun. The cheese was delicious- we all wound up taking some home.
Overall the tour was fabulous and Caspar was a fantastic guide and also great company!
Thanks again Stefka and Caspar!

Our guide, Stefka Waaijer, was fabulous and we had the most wonderful day visiting my family's hometown of Oploo. Our guide contacted the local historian in advance and arranged that we spent the day with him. We learned things about our family we never knew. I couldn't wait to get home to share them with the rest of my family!
Caspar is the best! We worked with our tour guide, via email, to customize our tour. He did a wonderful job of incorporating all our desired stops into our tour. Our first stop was Clara Maria Cheese and Clog Farm. Located in the nearby village of Amstelveen, it is a picturesque glimpse of life on a traditional Dutch farm. You can even see the cows there! We watched wooden clogs being made and had a demonstration of cheese making. They have a fantastic gift shop here!
Our next stop was the Delft pottery factory. This was one of our desired stops and we enjoyed seeing how the pottery is made and, of course, shopping in the factory shop! We are each enjoying a piece of the beautiful blue and white pottery as a reminder of a once in a lifetime trip!
Finishing the day, and finally bringing a bit of sunshine was the primary reason for this trip to Holland! The World Famous Keukenhof Garden is a must see, and did not disappoint! The only disappointing thing is that we did not have time to see it all!
I highly recommend this tour, since you can customize it to your individual desired attractions. Caspar was attentive, knowledgable, and very much fun to travel with! He kept us on our timeline, which can be difficult with four women in gift shops!!
