Selina was a wonderful tour guide who was very knowledgeable with every aspect of this tour. She made sure that everyone in our group was enjoying themselves and answered any questions we had. I can only hope that the next tour I do will have someone like Selina to lead the tour. Thank you for a wonderful time!!!
Detailed and Thought Provoking Tour of Museum Highlights

Victoria gave a great tour of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum in ways I would never have thought. She challenged us to look at the details of the work in different ways, compared different Dutch masters, and focused on brushwork and perspective- things I would never have thought to do on my own.
The Rijksmuseum is huge and you could spend a week there and not see everything, so no, this tour doesn't show you "everything", but it gives a good overview. The Van Gogh museum is smaller in scope but you feel that you really understand his painting career.
I had the back to back tour, but these are offered as separate pieces also, which I didn't realize. In hindsight, I wish I had booked the Rijksmuseum on one morning and the Van Gogh the next afternoon as a couple who was with us did, as it was a lot to absorb in one day.

Selina Vean was absolutely fabulous. So informative and fun.
What a great way to spend a day. She was very well educated on both museums and art history in general. Put together a great tour and the history behind each masterpiece.

Paola conducted two wonderful tours - one of the Rijksmuseum where she provided an in depth historical context of Rembrandt, the other Dutch Masters and their works and then of the Van Gogh Museum where her knowledge of Van Gogh - the tortured individual - helped to make his work more comprehensible and his genius more appreciated!
Two tours starting at 10 am with only a group of 8. Highlights and descriptions of works at the Rijkes and Van Gogh museums in Amsterdam. One hour lunch break.
Henk was so pleasant and helpful and he shared so much information and welcomed lots of questions from our group. He made this a wonderful experience for all of us at both museums. Wear your comfortable walking shoes! Thanks Henk!
Our guide was was so knowledgeable about so many artists and their techniques. The tour was about 2 hours at each museum and the Cobra Cafe for lunch was excellent. We really enjoyed the Van Gough museum.
