If you or your traveling partner do not have the patience to spend hours in a museum this tour is for you. We were able to see all the museum highlights with our knowledgeable guide Steven, enjoy a very nice lunch at the Van Gogh Museum and take a relaxing canal cruise all in one day. The best part was that there were no lines. We took this tour in August, at the height of the tourist season, and the lines to get into the museums were more than 2 hours. You can always go back on your own if you want to see more. This tour was well worth the cost. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Pieter, was wonderful, and this was the best day of my entire trip. He knows so much about art! After spending time listening to him talking about the magic in the paintings, I got it and wanted to climb inside them and live there. Pieter is smart, knowledgeable, interesting, and kind. Everything went like clockwork and the group was fantastic. So many awesome people from all over the world! I loved this and highly recommend this tour, especially if Pieter is your guide. A great price for a well-planned, well-executed, informative, and fun tour.

Pieter did an outstanding job of providing commentary on the museum tours. He has a deep understanding of painting and provided much insight and interpretation. Pieter also provided the relevant historical perspective. He was very willing to answer questions and to cater to individual needs. An excellent choice if you have only one full day to spend in Amsterdam. The inclusion of the canal tour and lunch between the two museum tours provided the necessary change of pace in such a full day of activities. This tour was well worth the price.

This was the best tour by far we have ever taken. Our guide Pieter was passionate about the art of Rembrandt and Van Gogh and shared that with our group. I wish I had an art teacher in college that made art come alive as well as he did. The Canal Cruise was great and a good break between the museums. We had lunch in the Van Gogh museum which was simple but ample and delicious. Although the Van Gogh museum only has about 35 of his works they do have Sunflowers and Potato Eaters which are two of the greatest. this is not to be missed and gives very high value for the price.

The tour was conducted by an art historian who was very knowledgable! He was able to maximise our time yet do so with depth that greatly enhanced our experience! We would highly recommend this tour. Well organised and on schedule!
