Learn about the Dutch Masters on two guided museum walking tours

Enjoy a full day of Amsterdam’s impressive art and culture with this museum tour and canal cruise combo. Meet your guide in Amsterdam’s Museum District and start your morning at the Van Gogh Museum. Enter the popular museum quickly with your skip-the-line ticket.

You’ll see the work of those who inspired Van Gogh throughout various displays of art by other 19th-century painters. After the tour, enjoy free time to explore more of the museum that houses the world’s largest collection of works by Van Gogh, with more than 200 paintings as well as numerous drawings and letters. Lunch will be at the Van Gogh Museum once you have had time to explore.

Then, appreciate Amsterdam's outdoor beauty with a 75 minute boat tour along the city's UNESCO-listed canals. Enjoy the view as you drift past picturesque canal houses, bridges, classic Dutch gables, churches, towers and other waterfront delights.

Disembark and continue to the Rijksmuseum, a Dutch national museum dedicated to the arts and history of the Netherlands. Enjoy skip-the-line privileges and head straight inside the recently renovated museum, with an collection of one million items, with 8,000 on display in 80 galleries. Admire and learn about masterpieces such as Vermeer’s Milkmaid and Rembrandt’s Night Watch.

Your final stop is at Coster Diamonds, one of the oldest diamond polishing factories still operating today and where the guided portion of the tour ends. Your guide gives you an entrance ticket to the Diamond Museum, which you will explore independently.

Excellent tour. Would have been very difficult to see both of these museums in one day without a knowledgeable guide. The midday canal tour was also a nice break. Highly recommend this tour to anyone with a limited amount of time in Amsterdam who want to make the most of the time available.

That was excellent and mainly due to the knowledge of our guide Steven. He was sharing alot of pertinent information and reach our objective to see those two museums the same day. He drove us through the most important areas and was excellent at providing the information and leading the group. I am recommending Steven to anyone for those tours 5 stars

Steven was our guide. He was great and we had a good time. The inside knowledge of the artwork by the guide really helps. You appreciate the art a lot more when compared to just walking through on your own and reading the placards.

Excellent day - well informed and knowledgeable tour guide. She took us to all the main works of art on display. The canal cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable and lunch at the Van Gogh Museum was lovely. I would highly recommend it especially if you are only in Amsterdam for a few days.

This was a fantastic tour with a very charismatic guide with a great knowledge about the farmous artists who were the protagonists of the tour. And between the museums we had a very interesting canal cruise through Amsterdam. I enjoyed every minute of these interesting moments. I really recommend this tour!
