Very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He was an Amsterdam native, and brought a definite love of his city to his descriptions of the beautiful buildings we were gliding past.

Perfect for the traveler that doesn't want the experience of a big boat with a recorded tour. I was looking for something smaller, more intimate, and that felt more traditional. I was so glad to find this option. The group was small. The boat was warm. The captain served as a knowledgable guide. Overall it was the perfect canal cruise for us!

Excellent tour of Amsterdam. Sjourt was an amazing captain and guide. He made the trip so interesting and gave us information on Amsterdam and Holland that we never knew. Highly recommended - great way to spend an hour and a half!! Would definitely take this trip when again in Amsterdam!

Lovely canal cruise going up the smaller canals . Shame the public address system was not working but what we did hear from the guide/pilot was very interesting. Also spoilt by a dutch couple who chatted every time Sjoerd talked .

We were blessed with a perfect sunny day. Arthur was our captain, he was very happy, friendly and very entertaining. We really enjoyed the beautiful boat, Canal views, and even learned some history all while drinking a glass of champagne. Perfect start to one of the best days on our trip.

This tour was on a small traditional craft over 100 years old lots of beautiful lacquered wood.
There were only 5 others on the tour so it felt quite personal. We embarqued away from the main tourist traps, which is why it was nice and quiet, but it was very easy to find being close to the NH City Centre hotel on the Singel side.
The captain was really friendly and the information he gave out before and during the trip was interesting and pitched just right. The information was given in English and in person rathrr than through a recorded audio guide.
We thoroughly recommend this tour.

Would definitely recommend the small boat cruise, especially We were only a group of 18 people which made it more personal. The captain made everyone welcome, was very informative and also recommended a few places to see/eat! The boat was super comfy with free teas/coffees and extra drinks on board
