Educational And Informative
Samantha_H, Mar 2023
Really interesting tour learning about not only coffee and macadamia nut production but rural life, Guatemala as a whole and multiple other things. The driver stopped whenever we wanted photographs, anticipated our wishes and even added things outside of the itinerary. I really enjoyed the side excursion to Aliotenango which was totally off the tourist map

Interesting tour of coffee and macadamia plantations.

After a rough start, with the driver/guide being an hour late, the tour was good. We visited local macadamia and coffee plantations. The guide also took us to an award winning weaver. The guide was colorful and shared his dreams of expanding his business to help others.

Erwin was a wonderful guide and took us to this amazing macadamia farm where we got to meet the owner who moved to Antigua from SF 50 years ago. The way they grow and support the local community is incredible. The coffee farm also provides sustainable source of income and empowerment to locals. Their products are also top notch! I was feeling sick from a heat stroke earlier (not COVID related) and Erwin got me a cup of their medium roast to settle my tummy. 20 minutes later, I was all good again!
