Overview

Get ready for a thrilling ride — solo or double — aboard an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) along Aruba’s north coast. You’ll kick up plenty of dirt on this half-day tour along rugged back roads to seaside bluffs and beaches, including the Natural Pool — accessible only by 4x4. Your informative guide stops at notable landmarks including Alto Vista Chapel, Baby Natural Bridge and a stone wish garden before you have free time to refresh with a leisurely swim. Pickup and drop-off from most Aruba hotels included.
  • 4-hour ATV adventure in Aruba
  • Explore the island’s rocky terrain, desert interior and dramatic cliffs and beaches
  • Visit Alto Vista Chapel, Baby Natural Bridge and a stone wish garden
  • Swim in a natural pool by the Caribbean and spot brightly colored fish
  • Choose between a morning or afternoon departure
  • Safety briefing, bottled water, entrance fee and round-trip transport from most Aruba hotels included

Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Unlike other off-road excursions that put you in the backseat, this tour lets you take the wheel of your own ATV.
Explore the natural beauty of the northern coast on a 4-hour Aruba ATV adventure, starting with hotel pickup and a safety briefing. All riders will hop aboard Honda Ranchers 420cc's — then follow your guide in a caravan toward your ultimate destination: the Natural Pool.

A winding road leads to Alto Vista Chapel, built on the hilltop site of the island’s first Catholic church constructed in 1750. Snap photos of the shimmering Caribbean Sea from this beachside locale before continuing along the remote coastline.

Next up is Baby Natural Bridge, a 25-foot-long (8-meter) coral limestone formation sculpted by eons of wind. You’ll also find hundreds of stone pyramids dotting a shoreline at a nearby wish garden where you can add your own devotional spire.

Continue on to the partial-stone wall ruins of Bushiribana, and learn about the abandoned mill that smelt three million pounds of gold during Aruba’s gold rush in the 19th century.

Another rugged, dust-kicking ride brings you to the Natural Pool, a calm basin of turquoise water surrounded by craggy volcanic outcrops bordering the Caribbean. Refresh with bottled water and a leisurely swim amid tropical fish before re-boarding your ATV for the return trip, ending with drop-off at your hotel.

A great morning spent exploring the national park. Swam in the natural rock pool and visited other attractions on the way

We had a fantastic time doing this tour, however, just one word of caution - the ATV ride is really difficult especially for someone who has never done it before. There was not much training, just here is the gas, brake, left, right and here you go. It was really scary for me and when we got to the national park with all the stones and rocky path. I had to stop and get on someone else's ATV. Other people were also having trouble getting through the rocky national park. It is definitely a good tour, but just beware of the difficult ATV ride.

I'm still here in Aruba and took this excursion yesterday and had a great time. First and foremost, I must commend our tour guide, Alex for being so patient. There were some ATV riders that were very hesitant to ride the rough terrain and slowed the group. The terrain indeed was extremely rough, I would have never guessed it was so rough but I as a 62 year old female enjoyed every minute of it and would do it again.

As far as the Natural pool swim that was exciting but the walk down the uneven rock stairs to get to the pool was very daunting. The pool of course, one must be VERY cautious, slippery rocks...nothing to hold on to but from a helping hand from anybody offering assistance..worth the trek but not for all. Now the most brutal part of the pool swim was getting back up those stairs, good luck...it took me forever!

We've been traveling to Aruba for years and had no idea this side of the island even existed. Our guide Alex was so much fun and took us on a great ride. Take an afternoon away from the beaches and discover something new about this island.

This was the best thing we did on our entire cruise. Alex was a very fun guide. This was the perfect excursion to have a blast driving an ATV through the streets and back country of Aruba. It's helpful to you and the rest of the group to have a bit of experience with ATVs beforehand. This isn't really designed to be a slow leisurely tour. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, and if we are ever in Aruba again we would ride with Alex anytime.
