We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Clifford, our driver, was very informative and entertaining. We stopped at the Aloe Factory, California Lighthouse, Natural Bridge, Casibari Rock Formation, and Alto Vista Chapel. We would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in some of the history of the island of Aruba!
This was an excellent way to see some local sights. We had a very informative guide who was also very entertaining. He took us to the Aloe factory which was part of the tour unfortunately it was closed but as a true professional he was able to still give us lots of information and to make it up to us by making some other stops that were not on our list of places. We went to the rock formations, the light house, the natural bridge, a cemetery, an exclusive community with gorgeous views and a tour of the country side. He was able to provide historical information at all the sights. He had us try yellow and green coconut s so we could taste the difference. He truly saved the day with his quick thinking and wonderful personality, it was an excellent tour! I don't know how to spell his name the closest I can get to it would be Mickal, he is from Amsterdam and his mother is from Aruba, hopefully with this information you can thank him again for us.
We enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgable, humorous and fun. Enjoyed seeing the other side of Aruba. We were let off at Palm Beach on the way back to the cruise terminal and spent the rest of the afternoon there at the beach. Very enjoyable day in Aruba.
We had a great time on our sightseeing tour. Clifford was very knowledgeable and we was very funny as well. He answered all our questions in addition to the all that had to be said about the sights that we saw. I would recommend this tour. And as I said Clifford was fantastic. And a gentleman as well he help us ladies get off the van without killing ourselves.
A great bus tour with Gary as our guide. Although I had visited the natural bridge in Aruba before, I still enjoyed going to all the sights.
We very much enjoyed our tour. It ran over the time allotted but we were back in plenty of time for our ship departure. Our guide was very friendly and informative. The bus was comfortable, clean and air conditioned.
We had a great island tour, thought our guide was able to hit the high points of the island.
Exceptional tour with our excellent tour guide. Saw the beauty of Aruba in such a short time.
Worth the time and money.
Guide was nice, the bus was clean and the guide was informative and the content was interestiing
Excellent tour, informative guide Clifford was fun. Tour moved along without being rushed. Would definitely recommend.
Great tour! Wonderful tour guide. Very informative.... Enjoyed the stop at the aloe Vera factory and shop.
Guide was good but only saw things on one side of the island. Our impression was that we would visit highlights on all parts of the island.
This tour was so-so. I would recommend the Pelican tour that covered more information and sights.
First the good. When I booked the trip, I printed my voucher for the tour and packed it in my luggage. I never looked at the voucher again until 10:00pm the night before our scheduled tour. To my surprise I was supposed to check in 24 hours in advance of the tour to confirm. The office was closed so I called the first thing in the morning and was able to confirm the tour with no problems the day of. The tour was interesting and the tour guide Wendell shared some interesting facts about Aruba. Wendell also brought a cooler of bottled water for anyone who got thirsty on the tour.
Now the bad. Pick up at the hotel was a half hour late. I realize we are on island time but it was annoying. Next, the picture on the website depicts a tour bus. Unfortunately it was a tour mini-van. There were 12 of us crammed into the van. It wasn't bad just not what I expected. Also the ac in the mini-van did not work that well. Every time I got in the van I began sweating profusely. The dry, hot breeze outside was actually more comfortable than inside. Consider booking an open air safari tour knowing you either get dusty in the open air or sweaty in the van. Also, the sound system needed some work. I was in the back of the van and the headset/speakers did not work well making it hard to hear all of the narative on the tour. This tour had been awarded a certificate of excellence in the past so some things must have changed.one other thing to consider when booking your sightseeing tour. It appears all the tours take you to the same sites so pick the mode of transport you like best. I saw several people on our tour with other tour groups that left from our hotel the same day at multiple stops.
