My husband did the Jetpack Adventure last week. The two guides were very friendly, professional, and liked their job. I had no safety concerns due to their diligence and expertise. The half hour goes by fast with much of it spent on instruction. However, my husband got ample air-time. They had me stand on the pier where I could get lots of photos and video. We would do it again!
Wow, what a rush! Definitely do this when you are in Aruba.
Jet Pack with Red Sail Sports:
Wow! This activity was every bit of fun as it looks! Ozzie and Kleijean were an awesome team, as they were very patient with us as we tried to get the hang of dominating the jet pack gear. I was so excited to fly over the water, I was positively giddy! I can't say enough about the time I had--was an amazing adventure!!!
Great experience! The only thing wasn't expected when you are in the air and the engine goes off because of overheating or something.. and you plunge into the water like a stone. Also not very easy to maneuver and it was too close to the pier, i was a bit worrying to lose control and fly into it. Definitely requires some muscle flexing and to be an adrenaline junkie. My weight is about 216lbs 100kg and I could propel only about 4-5 feet off the water a few times. Once I got used to it, my time was up, should be a longer experience. I think this Jetpack suited more for men rather than women due to the mass of it.
It was a good outing but it is difficult to get the experience if you are not somewhat athletic and not afraid of a challenge.
