What You Can Expect

Aruba Off-Road Island Tour Including Natural Pool and Baby Beach

Get off the beaten path on an off-road tour of Aruba!

Your full-day Aruba 4x4 adventure takes you to two of the island’s most popular coastal sites: the Natural Pool and Baby Beach. Start with hotel pickup in the morning for the ride to the tour operator’s base, where you’ll meet your guide for a safety briefing before taking off in a caravan of Land Rovers.
Take the wheel or the passenger seat of your open-air vehicle — designed with extra-cushioned seats for a comfortable ride — and set out toward Arikok National Park, a protected preserve that makes up almost 20 percent of the island. En route, stop for photo ops of historical and natural landmarks including the California Lighthouse on Aruba’s northern end. Hear about the island’s gold-prospecting days at the Gold Mill Ruins and view Natural Bridge, a limestone formation on the northeast coast that collapsed in 2005.

Around midday, enjoy a lunch menu of burgers, vegetarian pasta and barbecued chicken at the Waka Waka Adventure Cafe and Cantina.

You’ll traverse rugged terrain through the national park to the Natural Pool, a coastal swimming hole accessible only to 4WD vehicles. With 1 to 1.5 hours of free time here, snap on your provided snorkel and mask to explore the pool formed by volcanic rock, and refresh with a cool beverage.

Departing the Natural Pool, travel by Land Rover to Baby Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of shoreline located on Aruba’s southern coast. Enjoy another 1 to 1.5 hours of free time to relax at this Caribbean paradise, using your snorkeling gear to explore the marine life in the shallow, tranquil waters.

Your 4WD tour ends with the return to the tour base and a transfer to your hotel.

This is a MUST DO trip ir you really want to say you know Aruba, i know it may seem to much time to spend one day on tour but you won't even notice, its worth.
You will see beautiful things and take lots of pictures. And the cost will not be high compared if you take a taxi to go to each place.

We had an absolute blast on our day adventure with ABC. So much fun! Our tour guide was Brandon and he was the best. So friendly and welcoming, and shared lots of information about Aruba. Our group of 8 of us were strangers at the beginning of the day, but by the end of the day were friends like we had known each other a long time. For sure this is a must-do while in Aruba. ABC tours are the original and best!

For a windy rainy start at the Gold Mines, the day turned better and we enjoyed the tour even tho we were unable to swim at Natural Pool due to the high waves. The jeep drivers kept us entertained and the lunch was better than I thought it would be!

My husband and I took this tour a couple months ago and we had a blast! We had so much fun and learned a lot about the island, it seemed like we went everywhere! It was definitely a very bumpy journey but fun if you like that sort of thing :) Lunch was good and our tour guide Ralphie was amazing!

The success of any tour depends so much on your guides. Yes, Aruba was beautiful and the things we did on this tour were awesome, but really, it was the guides who made it. Ralphy, a 7th generation Arubian if I recall correctly, was the perfect tour guide. He was friendly, wild, and a little crazy it was like we were in summer camp, all screaming in unison, arEEba! to his cries of aRUba!, yet was not in your face or insincere in any way. He spoke with great pride about his country, and was extremely knowledgeable about everything he was asked, educating us the entire day within the context of having fun. I had hurt my shoulder very badly just the day before, and was hesitant about walking on the slippery rocks to one of the swimming holes, and he immediately engendered great trust from me as he supported and guided me personally to get to the water. My wife does not swim and is afraid of open sea, and the assistant guide I think Andrew but I could be wrong provided her with a small float to hold onto and a tether to himself, and they went out together, so she could snorkel and sea the myriads of fish that we were able to observe. Towards the end of the day, we took the long drive back over the rough off road terrain, bouncing around in the jeep, and the weather got much cooler and there were heavy downpours, soaking all of us, since the jeep was open along the sides- sounds miserable, right? Well Ralphy, who was our driver, turned it into the most fun adventure- we laughed A LOT, and just had a blast. And we are not kids- we're 60, and one of the other couples in our jeep were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. It was really wonderful. My emphasis here is that, because of the weather, my shoulder and my wife's fears, it could have been a much less amazing day, but the guides on THIS particular tour really made the difference for us. They could not have done better.

This was by far the best and most fun experiences/tours we did and we did quite a bit. You have to ride with Ralph or Ralphy as we called him - he is so much fun and will show you a good time if you're riding with him. The tour hit up great spots including the Gold Mill Ruins, Natural Pool, Baby Beach, Arikok National Park caves, California Lighthouse and Alto Vista Chapel. Lunch was also very good - which was unexpected as we thought it wouldn't be filling.

Hands down though the best part of the tour was riding in the 4x4 Land Rovers with Ralphy behind the wheel. If you can handle the bumpy ride on some of the craziest rocky terrains, you'll have a blast.

Ivo and Albert were terrific. Very energetic and funny. They made the trip a very enjoyable trip. This is a great way to see the island sites. Our only disappointment was the waves were too dangerous at the Natural Pool. So we went with plan B and swam in a smaller natural pool. The snorkeling at Baby Beach was amazing and lunch was very good too. Don't miss this tour.

Highly recommend this tour. Got to see a lot of Aruba! Andrew and his crew were hilarious! We loved the natural pool and snorkeling at Baby Beach! Hats off to Andrew for helping a physically challenged young lady in our group get the most out of the whole tour. Class act!
