Traveler Tips

I wish I wore water shoes for the natural pool as the rocks were very slippery, so for anyone reading this-wear good quality water shoes!
They offer helmets at the beginning of the trip but we all had hats and stuff so we didn’t need.
If you are an experienced rider, you may want to pay for the private/vip experience so you get a chance to canter on the white sand beach.

Beautiful day with a great tour group. Wonderful way to see the natural beauty of Aruba. We were so happy with our morning.
Simply amazing!
Tony_C, Apr 2022
What an incredible experience! The staff was friendly and very accommodating, the horses were well trained and cared for and the views beautiful, everything was excellent. Patrick and the staff at Ranco Loco made sure the adventure was great in every way. My horse Titan was a perfect match for me and was well behaved and easy to ride. I would highly recommend taking this tour to see the natural beauty of Aruba.

10/10 experience. My opinion of Aruba would be so different without this tour. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend it

Great fun!
Emma_M, Sep 2022
This is the most fun horse back riding I have ever had. The staffs are very professional and caring. True Aruba! Very fun and happy experience. Highly recommend! My daughter wants to do it again next year.
Best Tour Ever!
Erin_M, Aug 2022
This experience was a blast! I truly don’t think there could be a better way for any nature loving person to visit the National park. From the professionalism and friendliness of every single member of the staff and guides to getting to ride some very well cared for horses- every aspect of this trip was perfect. The park is unbelievably beautiful and I appreciated the guides pointing out wild goats and burrowing owls. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes horses and appreciates beautiful views.
Great excursion!
Warner_L, Jul 2022
Everyone needs to view Aruba on horseback. This was a great experience with my wife. Would do it again. The pool was amazing
Just incredible you have to do it!

One of the best

It was a breath taking experience. Riding the horse in the national park, viewing all Aruba from the top of the hills in its own beauty it was more then I hoped for.
An adventure to remember…
Ron_L, May 2022
Our guides were excellent and we enjoyed every moment of the journey on our beautiful well cared for horses. I recommend going in the late afternoon to see the beautiful golden tones as the sun gets lower… we captured some beautiful photos to cherish.

Best experience of my life with the kindest people (and creatures) I’ve ever met 🤍 I rode up and down the 3rd highest point in Aruba and felt so proud afterwards
What a fantastic ride
George_E, Apr 2022
The best time I had in Aruba. Staff, horses and views were top notch. And to swim half way through helped stretch the legs. We are going back in December and plan on doing this again.
This was amazing! All of...
Tanja_B, Apr 2022
This was amazing! All of the people working there and accompanying us on the tour were super friendly and made this day fabulous. The horses are super well kept. Keep in mind Aruba is a desert island so you’ll be on the desert terrain. If it’s your first time ever riding a horse I strongly suggest a helmet (not because you super need it but more so for your mental security as there are rocks and hills). Thank you we had a great time!!!!
No better way to see the “other” side of the island
Debbie_S, Mar 2022
One of the things my husband and I like to do when we go on vacation is go horseback riding. We have ridden in several places and this was probably the best! The owner and her staff were all very friendly. The tour itself was a pleasant ride -bouncy at times. It was a great way to see the National Park and the other side of the island. The natural pool was fun and we were lucky enough to be able to swim in it and cool off. The horses were well trained and well taken care of. The ranch was very well maintained and clean. We had 3 guides -Juni, Andeas and Patrick who were all awesome. Andreas led the group, Juni was the entertainer and Patrick was our photographer.
Enjoyable Afternoon
Marlena_M, Jan 2022
Tour pick up was punctual and very polite. Better for intermediate riders than first timers but still an excellent option for a day trip. The natural springs were beautiful and look just like the pictures! Andres and Susan were wonderful guides. The horses were well-behaved and well taken care of.
Awesome time!
courtney_p, Dec 2021
Such an amazing experience. The ranch was beautiful, the horses were all sweet and well managed. The staff was incredible! Fun and interactive. They had a lot of knowledge about the island and horses in general. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and really enjoyed this excursion! I would do it again if coming back to Aruba! One thing to be aware of, some of the horses have specific spots they like to walk in, so u might now be right by your family or partner. But that didn’t effect our time, we still both had a blast!
Peaceful Countryside Experience
Calvin_H, Dec 2021
I this was a beautiful way to see the countryside of Aruba! We lucked out and were the only two people on the tour. I’ve never ridden before and with simple instructions I was able to have a smooth ride. Our guide, I believe his name was Andres, was good about reminding us how to ride when going up and down the terrain. Following instructions is key to safety especially for a beginner. It was very peaceful to ride and you get to see the islands beauty from different vantage points. My husband said he felt like an island cowboy! The natural pool was beautiful, and definitely a must see! It’s such a contrast to the calm beach experience you’ll find on the west coast of the island. Definitely wear pants and shoes over your swimsuit because the trail has lots of thorny bushes that you might slightly graze. All our horses had their own personalities so taking care to pay attention to your companion at the beginning of the ride is helpful, for example my horse was following the guide like he was supposed to but he kept going a different path and I finally realized he didn’t like walking in the water so he was just trying to avoid puddles. Once I figured that out I knew he was going to avoid the water then get back in line. Great experience overall!
Great experience with beautiful views
Tierra_B, Oct 2021
I haven’t rode a horse in a very long time, I was so happy to be able to do that while also going to see one of the most beautiful treasures of Aruba.
