Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Could have done without the museum tour.
I've been on three ghost walking tours and this one was the best. The tour guide I didn't catch his name was enthusiastic and genuinely interested in the subject matter. He has a degree in Anthropology which influenced his telling of incidents which happened in Asheville. Even if you are a nonbeliever, I think you would still enjoy the walk as the guide had an excellent knowledge of Asheville's history.
Had so much fun. It was historical and memorable. Loved the history of the city as we were going through the tour.
We enjoyed this tour with our family. Our kids aged 13 and 11 were also engaged during the tour.
Our tour guide was very antimated as well as informative. He answered our questions and we had a very entertaining evening.
Tour guide Brian provided so much background and history to bring the ghosts to life. Whole family enjoyed the walking tour.
My daughter and I loved this tour. Our tour guide, Tad , was very informative and seemed genuinely excited about his job. The pace of the tour and information given were easy to follow and keep up with others.
Brian was terrific walk was long 2 1/2 hours, up and down hills. Our 12 and 13 year old had a great time also. Worth buying this way considerably cheaper.
Great guide, very entertaining and lots of Asheville history included. Highly recommend.
My tour was fantastic! Very informative on the history of Asheville and the people who helped. A lot of walking is to be expected, not for the one with walking issues. Definitely wear appropriate shoes for the tour..Please Go!! Well worth it!! Enjoy!!!
Our family really enjoyed the haunted tour. Our guide, Brian was spectacular!! Very informative and we really enjoyed the mixture of history along with the ghost stories. He really brought something extra to the tour! Thank you Brian for making our visit to Ashville special! The information on the Masonic Temple and the museum was very interesting. We would highly recommend this tour!!
This tour was completely awesome! We highly suggest this tour to anyone visiting Asheville. Local history told by local people. Brian was our tour guide and he was so very nice. The Museum was interesting in the Masonic Temple. The Temple itself is amazing.
Great tour!!! We really enjoyed this tour. Not only did hear some very interesting stories, but we also learned quite a bit about the history of the city of Asheville. Our tour guide Brian was exceptional!!!
Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining. My 12 year old son especially liked it. The ghost hunting gadgets were his favorite.... but we never did see a ghost. :
Guide was very enthusiastic and brought a lot of insight into the people and history of Asheville.
This walking tour lasted a little over 2 hours and covered a lot of the downtown area. Our guide was a good story teller and made the tour interesting and entertaining.
Brian was our guide and he made the trip what it was. He is very knowledgeable and into the subject. We learned the history of Asheville and some of what makes it what it is today. No fake scare tactics just locations and facts.
Let me start by saying that the tour was a great history of Asheville. It was clear that our guide was very knowledgable about the NY influence of the city, the geography of the area, and the timelines when certain tragic events took place. However, we had hoped that the tour would have been a spooky kick off to our week. I wanted to leave with the uneasy feeling that something could be watching us from the shadows, that we might be followed home by a spirit, or that we could see a ghost at any moment. This was not that tour.
The guide was so fun but this was more of a history lesson as opposed to a ghost tour

The guide loved history and knew the history of the area.He was great. Our group was TOO large. They really need to limit it We had at least 35. One person was late and he kept waiting for him. We then started late. The lateness and the size of the group took away from the experience majorly..
I wish the tour guide had taken into account that the temperature was in the high ninetys at 8 pm there was no shade to stand in and that everywhere we had to stand on a slant. aura, or sightings. The guide really didn't need to expound on his teaching science and explaining scientific aspects of locations. An hour had passed and we were only at the second stop repeatedly hearing about where dead bodies from epidemic were stored or buried. It became too hot and boring.
Four people went on this tour and were in agreement about the experience. We were disappointed in the number of stories. Also, felt that the historical information, while important, was told in a way too lengthy manner. We wanted more emphasis on the ghost stories. We would not recommend the tour.
