I learned a great deal about the history of downtown Asheville and the Asheville community in general. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and great with people!! I highly recommend this guided walking tour!! It was not rushed, questions were welcome, and to learn the when and why of the landscaping, building development, notable buildings of downtown, and the prominent people who contributed to Asheville development from the beginning to now was worthwhile.

Great tour. Tebbe did a wonderful job describing the city, the culture and the buildings in the areas included in this walking tour. He provided hearing devices which helped in a group and while on the go. There were few questions that he could not answer and we learned a lot. Came away with a greater appreciation for Asheville and its history.
