- The electric bikes will take all of the hard work out of your ride. We routinely have riders that span the spectrum of age and fitness. The main requirement is that you be coordinated and fit enough to balance a 55-pound bike. A training and practice session is provided at the start of each tour. For people that would like to go on the tour but are not able to balance a bike, it is possible to arrange a ride on the back of one of our stretch cargo bikes that will be driven by another person in your party.
- Legally, you must be 16 years or older to operate an electric bike. Guides reserve the right to request proof of age of any rider. Riders should also be at least 5 feet tall to operate their own bike. Guests younger than 16 may ride as a passenger with an adult in their group on the back of one of our cargo bikes or in a child seat (for children ages 1-6 or up to 48.5 pounds).
- Tours are subject to favorable weather conditions. If there is light rain in the forecast but none at the start of the tour, we will decide together at the time of the tour whether to ride. We will provide rain ponchos and rain covers for the storage bags on the bikes to protect your belongings. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.

We debated whether to take this tour or an EBike brewery tour and I’m so glad we chose this one! You simply see so much more of the city!
Brian was our guide and he was fantastic! Super helpful and concise with orienting us to the E bike and getting us around a town that has a decent amount of traffic! I never felt unsafe and there are so many pretty parts of Asheville.
There is simply no way to see all the sights of Asheville from a car nor is there an efficient way to walk to all the sights. E-bikes are the best way! And so. Much. Fun!
If you’ve ever ridden an electric scooter, you’re set. My husband and I loved being outdoors on these bikes, but we didn’t feel like participants had to be in good physical shape since the bike will drive you without peddling. Coordination is really the key with these bikes.
Highly recommend this tour of Asheville!

It was an awesome day for our family! It is rare that we can all get together so I want to do something totally different. I found this under the heading I googled for fun things to do near me. It sounded awesome the reviews were great so I booked six adults and one child. From the very get-go it was easy to fill out the forms on the Internet that were needed to be filled out before we went on our Electric bike tour of historical downtown Asheville. We all got their met Alex, Arturo guide and instantly felt comfortable. We had the best time of our lives. We felt safe on the bikes with the instructions that were given we learned a lot of new things about downtown Asheville and it’s history and it was so much fun riding the electrical bikes! I would definitely recommend to everybody to do this activity and tour. You won’t regret it. It was fantastic!!!!

Our tour guide was Laura, and she not only had a terrific attitude, but was extremely knowledgeable about the historic background of downtown Asheville! The Pedigo e-bikes were very nice and she took ample time to familiar those new to e-bikes with how to operate safely.
Was definitely worth the price of admission for this very enjoyable tour!

This was a SUPER fun experience! I recommend doing the bike tour early during your trip - it gave us a lay of the land and helped us find unique spots that we wouldn’t have visited if not for the tour. Our tour guide had a great personality (super funny, too) and was very knowledgeable about Asheville’s history. If you’ve never ridden an electric bike, you won’t be disappointed. The company provides a thorough safety demonstration and tutorial (with practice laps) before the trip starts. It’s an awesome activity and allows you to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. We left wanting to buy our own electric bikes! Highly recommend!!!

Super fun way to see areas of Asheville I don’t think we would have seen on our trip if we hadn’t done the tour. Awesome way to spend some time outside. Joe, our guide, was great at making sure everyone felt comfortable on the ebikes and did a great job with the tour overall. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend! Bryan and Chris, our tour guides, were helpful in teaching us how to ride an e-bike (so awesome) and were very friendly and knowledgeable about Asheville. Great recommendation for live blue grass music spot that night (Jack in the Wood) and a rib place (12 Bones)-both were outstanding. The bike ride takes you through downtown, a fun neighborhood and an amazing hotel. So easy to ride the e-bikes and wonderful way to spend an afternoon outside in beautiful Asheville. You’ll enjoy this tour!
