Make sure your wear good shoes, as the there is some climbing, as well as slippery marble in some areas.
It's a must to take this tour, you will understand the ruins and not just pass through them.
If your looking for a walkthrough of the acropolis and then time for photos, this is a good.

Amazing experience!

Absolutely brilliant. Olesya was an incredible tour guide. Her knowledge was amazing, and she had an increíble delivery that made everything you were seeing make sense and tie together, allowing you to understand the full story. Highly recommend also paying for the tour of the museum included as this helped us understand what we were seeing in the museum. The tour is a lot of walking on uneven surfaces so definitely recommend good walking shoes. A lot of the surfaces are slippery marble or cobbles and up steep inclines. All in all, would definitely do again!

This tour was fantastic, and our guide, Niobe, was wonderful. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much detail with us that I would never have known otherwise. I highly recommend going in March, as the weather was perfect and there weren’t huge crowds. Having Niobe as a guide at the museum was also a must, I would never have appreciated everything there nearly as much otherwise.

We had a great guide called Eli. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. This is a day with a lot of walking. The museum followed on well from the Acropolis. It was also helpful to be advised at the start to buy some lunch before starting.

Chrisvoula (I think I spelled her name correctly) was an amazing tour guide. She was enthusiastic and had a very good sense of humor in her story telling throughout the course of the tour. She made sure that everyone was comfortable and had a good, easy going pace going up the hill. I loved her tour and strongly recommend her. Thank you for the experience!

Great tour for Acropolis highlights

Niobe, our guide, was kind and extremely knowledgeable. We climbed the hill and she explained everything there, plus gave us some time to wander on our own. She answered questions and gave a personal touch to the experience. Thank you! For visitors, I suggest to take a fruit or snack to eat in between the acropolis and museum (5 Min) as it can be a bit long tour.

The pickup location was very easy to find and I would highly recommend you try the Greek Yoghurt near by. The tour itself was fantastic and an absolute must if you're staying in Athens. I would strongly advise you include a museum ticket, as the exhibits on display are truly amazing. I would finally like to say a big thank you to our tour guide Effie. She was charming, engaging and allot of fun 👍

What made this tour top notch was our guide - Angela - we highly recommend her she was knowledgeable, professional truly passionate about her work. She understands history and archeology and clearly communicates complicated information while keeping track of her group amidst crowds.
