Our tour guide Christina was SO great! She was so knowledgeable about food and even sent us her personal recipes by email afterward. The tour offered more than enough food, and we were stuffed by the end of it. Definitely worth it, and lots of fun!

very fun tour! really enjoyed sampling all the delicacies. Georgia was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We got to try a variety of traditional Greek foods that we otherwise would not have known to sample. A walk though the meat market was literally life changing for my daughter, she is now a vegetarian. A bit too much food for me overall, but my husband and older son were very happy with the quantity and the quality.

It was a wonderful experience! We booked a tour with 6 family members 3 children and discovered parts of Athens that we would not have seen. Our tour guide was very experienced and told us about the history and origins of the food in Greece. Although we had some picky eaters in our group, everyone had a chance to taste a variety of different foods. There was so much food that we could not eat for the rest of the day. Definitely a must do in Athens!

Georgia was fantastic, knowledgable and a treat to have as a guide. The tour itself was fantastic. DO NOT EAT before you go - there's lots to eat along the way. At the end I had _the_ best souvlaki of my life.

This was my first international walking food group tour, and I have to say, the bar was set very high from this excursion. I participated in this walking food tour when I was in Athens back in Dec. of 2016, and I have to say it was definitely a major highlight of my trip to Athens! Despina was our guide, and she was absolutely phenomenal! She did a great job of integrating history lessons, historical and modern greek culture into the greek food, and we had plenty of chances to try real greek food, in places where local greeks, and not places caterintg to tourists, go grocery shopping, purchase a street stall snack, or even go to have an authentic Greek lunch. We even had to time purchase some food items as a shop that is family owned and sold locally grown and produced Greek products like olive tapenade, olive oi, soap, Mastic, etc. If you are in Athens, take this tour, and if you are lucky, you will get Despina. Next time I am in Athens, I definitely plan to take this tour again!
