A perfect cruise around the harbor

Very beautiful cruise. One of the crew was extremely helpful and even took pictures of us while carefully framing some of the incredible sites around us. Highly recommend!

Perhaps we were just tired from a 14-hour flight but we didn't find the cruise all that interesting. We did get a good idea of how Auckland is laid out but it was only on the next day when we had a full-day personal tour of Auckland that we got to see what a great city is. The commentary on the cruise was good and informative and we did get to see a bungee jumper on the bridge. The food options were not very appetizing

Kia Ora Allen, thank you for your review and we hope you’re well. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with Harbour Cruise wasn’t the best. We’d certainly like all our customers to have an enjoyable experience and we’re sorry this wasn’t the case with you. We will pass on your comments regarding food options to our wider team for their reference. Thank you for your review once again and we hope you stay well during these times and otherwise! We took the Auckland Harbout Sightseeing Cruise in early March and thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather could not have been better and the cruise was informative and provided wonderful views of the city and surroundings. The cruise lasts about 90 minutes and is worth the price.

Our tour of NZ

Hi viator team, we have just finished 3 weeks touring NZ and enjoyed many trips organised by you. However, the AucklandHarbour trip was scuppered. When we arrived in Auckland and drove to the harbour we were informed their was no parking in Auckland harbour area for several miles. This was due to severL cruise liners being diverted to Auckland due to the Corona virus outbreak. Also it turned out the place was swarming with Elton John fans since he had several concerts in the stadium. Try as we might we were unable to park any closer than the Sealife Aquarium. Despite phoning the line seemed engaged or no one was there. The place was havoc!! So we never managed to get to the harbour cruise at all. Thanks for everything else. They all went off a treat. Many thanks Mr & Mrs Telling

Excellent cruise and good commentary. Highlight was cruising under the Harbour Bridge. Be mindful of the construction work in the harbour area and allow extra time

Really enjoyable trip, went further than we thought we would. sitting at the stern outside as the weather was so good we did have difficulty hearing the informative commentary, eventually went into lower deck inside seating area so we could hear better. The afternoon tea was excellent, very yummy.

Good boat ride but not that memorable

If you've been bungy jumping, sky diving or even touring Rotorua, you'll fall asleep on this one. It is essentially a boat ride around the harbour with commentary and if that interests you, you will like it.

Kia ora Ray, thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the Harbour Cruise. this is definitely the kind of tour to do if you like hearing history and commentary on a relaxing boat tour but not so much for the thrill-seekers! I hope you were able to learn a bit about the Waitemata harbour. Kind regards, Fullers360

Worth doing

Interesting trip around the harbour, giving a lot of information about the numerous Islands and local points of interest. Range of seating available including outside in a shaded area. We chose to sit inside as the commentary was a little difficult to hear on the open deck.
