What You Can Expect

Half-Day Muri Lagoon BBQ Lunch Cruise including Snorkeling

Snorkelling, Rarotonga

Begin your day on the water with convenient hotel pickup. Transfer to the water's edge, where you'll board your boat to the sounds of a traditional welcome on the Cook Islands drums.

Board your glass bottom boat bound for a local snorkeling spot in the Marine Reserve. Slip on the snorkel, mask, and fins and dive in to immerse yourself in the Cook Island's marine world. Keep an eye out for Charlie the huge Moray eel; you'll also see tropical fish and giant clams. Spend some time feeding the fish, then climb back on the boat and make your way to Motu Koromiri.

Go ashore for a Raro-style fresh fish barbecue, accompanied by tropical fruit and salad. Take in a Pareu- (sarong)-tying show and demonstration on how to harvest and husk coconuts.

Your tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel in Avarua after 4 hours.

Our excursion was directed by Captain cupcake, whoop whoop, and sweet as. They were hilarious and informative at the same time. The snorkeling part of the excursion allowed for us to see many different types is fish. Lunch also allowed for us to hear great music that was played by the captains.

Very good, however the weather was not kind on the day we went out, on a fine day i am sure it would rate a 5! A lot of fun.

Kia Orana, thank you to Captain Tama's awesome experience and the lagoon snorkling was the altermate. My whanau didn't want to get out of the water. Maybe one thing I could pass on is that we felt the drumming and singing weren't as prominant on the boats and the island during lunch as the opposition Koka Lagoon Cruises.
