We were very pleased with our guide and the tour itself. There was a group of 6 of us, all of whom had seen Pont du Gard, so the driver agreed to spend more time in Uzes which was a beautiful village.
A must for better understanding of Roman influence/impact in France, if not for the sheer awe-inspiring Pont du Gard aqueduct. We then joined the afternoon tour of Luberon area for wine and olive oil tasting. Guide had a great handle on the history and culture of the region.
The tour company is really good. Marc was a good driver and excellent guide.
Nimes surprised me, it was a lot bigger and more beautiful than I expected. The aquaduct was good to see.
If you do not wish to go through the hassle of renting a car, this tour is absolutely essential. Our tour guide Anne was very well-versed in the entire region and gave us a wonderful picture of what we were seeing on our way to the sites. The Colosseum in Nimes is amazing, although I wish we would have had a bit more time to see the Temple. Our next stops Uzes was well worth the visit and Anne explained its importance as a major Bishopric. At our last stop at Pont du Gard we were afforded enough time to walk around the massive aqueduct and and appreciate what the Romans had done 2000 years ago to bring fresh water to their communities. A wonderful trip.
The Roman Amphitheater at Nimes was amazing but the Pont du Gard aqueduct was the hightlight of the trip. Don't miss it!
The Roman ruins were stunning and we had the best guide I've ever had! She was most knowledgeable.
I didn and #39;t end up going on this tour. They called to say that there were no other bookings so I was moved onto another, I was then late for that one due to train delays. I called them and they moved me to the next day. Was a wonderful experience, Remy was an excellent guide. Loved every second of it.
Our tour guide was great. He gave us excellent advice about how to spend our time, answered our many questions and offered great background on the sites. Like all tours of this type, it can seem rushed but it is a great way to see these types of interesting places if you don't want to drive yourself and have limited time--the tour makes great use of the time you have.
From the pick up at hotel Carol was a fantastic guide explains all the history . All the stops for us was well worth doing and so glad we did this tour Special stNd out was the Roman Aqua Duct bridge with the sun setting .thanks Carol we loved our tour on our 33 rd anniversary from Carol and Will Australia
fantastic tour. Went at the right time of the day and ended when it was cooler. Tour guide Violet was very informative.
In spite of the weather, this was truly a fantastic trip with a wonderful guide.
Great tour - Nicolas gave lots of interesting and useful information, helpful maps and then left us to explore - perfect!
Nicolas was knowledgeable with interesting facts to share. We had sufficent time at all 3 sites. The van was comfortable.
This tour was a highlight of our Paris stay. Linda, our guide was outstanding!!! Well worth the money!
Ruins are a must-see, especially Pont de Gard. Guide was informative and helpful.
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour to Nimes,Uves and Pont du Gard. Our guide who was very good and very knowledgable picked us up at our hotel and provided information about the countryside as well as the sites. Travelled in a van for 8 but only 4 of us that trip, very comfortable.
The tour was brought forward 1/2 hour on account of the short November afternoon. This was a good move- it meant we were just in time to see the Pont du Gard from both sides of the river before the light faded.
Excellent tour, guide was great, and did a brilliant job, particularly considering she had to drive the mini bus as well as be a tour guide. Very knowledgeable and professional. Enjoyed the entire trip, the Amphitheatre at Nimes, The Maison Carree temple, the walk around the charming town of Uzes, but the highlight of the tour for me was the aqueduct Pont Du Gard at the end of the trip, awesome! Would thoroughly recommend this trip.
The tour was incredible. The roman arena in nimes is in very good condition. You could imagine all the things that happened there. Then we wento to Uzes a very charming town and the last stop was Point du Gard which was beautiful and serene. Julien was a very good guide. Don't miss it !!
At the suggestion of our guide, our tour began half an hour earlier than was previously advertised which turned out to be to our advantage as it enabled us to see all the sites in the daylight. It turned out that we were the only ones on the tour which was wonderful as we were able to decide how long we wanted to stay at each site. Our guide, Sophia, was very knowledgable and spoke excellent English
the day trip was fantastic. The tour guide was very nice, friendly and very informative.
it was such a great memorable day. I really recommend it.
This tour is well worth the cost and effort; there was an excellent guide - professional and well informed. Very comfortable mini bus and highly interesting sites.

We (a married couple and a female friend, all about 65), did this tour in late May 2013.
I recommend this tour highly. The guide, Veronica? was excellent!
It is hard to believe that some of the sites we saw today are over 2000 years old. The Roman amphitheatre at Nimes is the best preserved Roman amphitheatre in the world, where they shot the movie Gladiator. The weekend just gone was a long weekend and they had their version of the running of the bulls. Then we saw the most impressive building, the Maison Carree, a Roman temple, a huge rectangular building with columns at the front. Then we went on to the pleasant historic town of Uzes, where we had time for a short stroll. The best was to come, the aqueduct the Pont Du Gard. This is an amazing arched structure stretching over the river Gardon. One of the wonders of the ancient world, it was built in 1st century A.D. and is still in good condition.
