What You Can Expect

Make your own way to the Outback Pioneer Hotel in Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort) in time for a 12pm departure. After meeting your guide and group settle into your seats aboard an air-conditioned coach and soak up the scenery as you journey into the UNESCO-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Tuck into a tasty packed lunch (provided) on the way, then jump out to enjoy the first walk of the day, affording spectacular views of Kata-Tjuta (the Olgas) and the Walpa Gorge. Continue to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn more about the local Pitjantjatjara people and the region’s rich Aboriginal heritage.

Next, head to the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock), where you’ll enjoy two walks – the Mala Walk, which follow the north-west side of Uluru and passes some impressive Anangu rock art, and a guided hike to the ancient Mutitjulu Waterhole.

Finally, watch the sunset over the sacred peak of Uluru as you sip a glass of Champagne and feast on a traditional Aussie-style BBQ dinner.

Your tour ends around 7pm, back at the Ayers Rock Resort.

Received notification that we would not be picked up or dropped off at Desert Garden Hotel as previously advertised, but since the coach came all the way from Alice Springs to pick up people in Uluru we could understand their picking up at only one place.

Absolutely brilliant tour!!! So impressive!!!
Highly recommend! Guides were very knowledgeable and fun. Day was well planed. Lunch and dinner great! Snacks and drinks all the time. Most important you will have great way to explore Uluru. We did almost full circle around the rock with two stops and guided walks. Tour ended with magnificent sunset over Uluru. Perfect perfect! Only thing i wish would be better is to have some free time for take pictures, have a small walk alone. Time at Kata Tjuta was just 40 mins which is literally hardly enought going till the gorge and coming back to bus. Uluru tour was much longer but we didn't have a minute to stay alone to enjoy the rock , just have a minute for photos, we were rushing to take photos. The rest and overall, the tour os great! Highly recommend. You will be very impressed!

Friendly, knowledgable and humorous Tour guides. This tour included everything I wanted to see, which was quite a lot . It may have been a little rushed but I understand that we had to make Sunset on time. Would have liked more time at sunset for photos of the rock but still would recommend it.

Both my husband and I loved the tour. It was both entertaining and informative. Our driver Gerry was awesome.
It is a very special and sacred place and he was able to relay their information to us in a way that hit home.
The only downside to the tour was that it had to come to an end.
Well done!

The enthusiasm of our 2 guides was amazing. It was fantastic to learn about Uluru and Kata Tjuta and hear Aboriginal stories about both areas. Dinner viewing and #34;The Rock and #34; was awesome. It was as though 10,000 spotlights had been shone on Uluru. Thanks for a great trip!
