Meet your guide and small group in Cabo San Lucas at Plaza de la Danza and receive a safety briefing in preparation for your SNUBA adventure. Rather than carry your air supply on your back, you'll breathe through a long hose connected to a tank at the water's surface. You can’t go any deeper than the hose allows — whether 10, 20 or 30 feet (3, 6, or 9 km) down — and there's no concern about using complicated equipment as in scuba diving.
After just 15 minutes of instruction, you'll head out to the Sea of Cortez to explore the underwater world. Then snap on a mask and flippers and breathe through the regulator as you descend. Follow your guide to encounter tropical marine life during a 30-minute experience.
You might see butterflyfish and angelfish nibbling at coral heads, or spy a hawkfish, an octopus, or moray eels in a shady hideout. You could see rays grazing on mollusks on the sandy seafloor, find garden eels sticking their necks out, behold a turquoise parrotfish, or see a large school of jacks or scads.
After your session you can enjoy refreshments and, if time allows, use provided snorkeling equipment or relax on the beach before returning to Los Cabos.
