Nature meets history meets modernity

What a great trip. I signed up for a group tour as a solo female traveller and I had a great experience! Elmar was a wonderful guide. He showed us all the wonderful rock drawings of Qobustan, the different chambers of Atesh Gah, walked us around the Mud Volcanoes, and let us explore Yanar Dag and Heydar Aliyev Centre.
We got a great chance to see both the historical and modern aspects that Azerbaijan is famous for. Elmar himself knew a lot about the culture, society, and history and answered a lot of our curious questions — he also showed genuine deep interest in our own cultures and where we came from. Tons of learning and conversation even during the rides to these places!

The sites were not interesting nor worth visiting. The scheduled departure time was 9am, however, we didn’t make a move until 10:30 am which was quite a delay. In addition, no lunch was available until 2 pm… I was (and people in the group were) hungry, so I decided to end up eating something myself. By the way the seats of the shuttle were EXTREMELY uncomfortable.. which was like a torture. Overall, the guide was friendly, but the tour itself really doesn’t worth the time and money invested.

We are sorry to hear that you didn't satisfy with our experience. Delay on the departure time of the tours is possible sometimes as a day before the experience we contact you and mentioned that the tour will start 1 hour later than the original plan due to the high traffic in the morning. The bus was 18 seats, a Mercedes Vito Van which is operating for our tours every day and never had a complaint.
We are looking forward to seeing you again and compensating you with other tours for free As we don't want any of our customers to leave our country with a negative experience.

The group was small, we were 3 people so almost felt like a private tour. The tour was led by Taleh, a nice and we'll educated young man. The sights, the nature around it and Talehs knowledge about every place made it even more interesting.
