I had the pleasure of taking the "Shamakhi and Gabala" tour with the incredible guide MuradAli and it was an experience that will stay with me forever. MuradAli's knowledge and passion for the history and culture of Azerbaijan were truly inspiring, and he made every moment of the tour fascinating and engaging. We began our journey by visiting the Diri Baba Mausoleum, an awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece that left us speechless. MuradAli shared fascinating stories about the history of the mausoleum, making us feel as if we were stepping back in time. Next, we visited the Juma Mosque, which was built all the way back in 743 AD. MuradAli's insights and attention to detail made the experience all the more memorable, and we left with a deep appreciation for the history of Azerbaijan and its rich cultural heritage. After exploring these stunning historical sites, we drove to Nohur Lake, a breathtaking natural wonder that was a true delight to the senses. The fresh air, stunning views, and peaceful surroundings were a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Finally, we made our way to Qabala, where we took a cable car and enjoyed the thrill of skiing. It was an exhilarating experience, and MuradAli's guidance and expertise made it all the more enjoyable. Nice tour to see some interesting sights in Azerbaijan!

I enjoyed this tour and the guide was friendly. It's a good way to get out of Baku and see some interesting sights in Azerbaijan. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that it would have been better to have more time in the ski resort and enjoy the views. We visited the lake which, in February, wasn't really worth going to so perhaps an adjustment could be made in the winter months. I still recommend the tour!

Our tour became enjoyable and fun because of our tour guide aziza, she was so knowledgeable of her job and made sure that everyone are taking cared of, any questions she quicked to answer and she loves to sing as well which made our trip not boring especialy for long drive going to Tufandang which took us 3-4 hours to reach the place. Higly recommend this tour. Thank you

Nermin was the perfect tour guide. She is awesome at her job, very passionate about her lovely country, very knowledgeable on its history, extremely nice and funny and super cute. This tour was awesome and I won hundred percent recommend it to everyone. Very nature base and An incredible tour for the soul. I would definitely take this tour again.

Good tour spoilt by honey shop stopover

Pros: On time pickup! Excellent Cable car ride at Gabala and magnificent view from the top. Lunch was delicious Cons: 1. 30 minutes wasted at Honey shop while travelling to Gabala. This could have been done while returning. This was a worthless stop just for travel agent making commission out of any tourist purchase. If we had got that 30 minutes we could have spent more time at scenic lake and uphill. 2. Guide was providing needless historical details and also rushing us at locations. But he did not rush at honeyshop just because of commission it seems.

We were anxious about travelling with a 7 year old and a 2 year old on this long drive day trip. But we're glad we did it anyway. Highly recommend booking a private car with young kids so you can decide how long you want each stop to be. Special shout out to our guide Mr. Mushvig who was extremely careful while driving, was very patient with children and kept us awake and not feeling bored at all the entire trip with his in depth knowledge of the sites, trivia about azerbaijan and his jokes. Really glad we had a memorable day with the highlight being the cable car ride at Gabala.

Amazing "food tasting" tour.

The tour was phenomenal and without a doubt value for money. The price inlcluded lunch, pick up and drop of to back to Baku and entry to all attractions (cable car, entry to mosque, mausaleum, lunch in the forest, tasting of local sweets/pastries in the House of Sweets, honey tasting in Ismaili). Rafael was a great tour guide who had good knowledge of the areas visited. The scenary at the stops we made and the scenary between the stops were very photogenic and beautiful to admire. Rafael did not rush us to get from one place to another, we were able to absorb the environment and enjoy the visit to historical places and places with great aesthetic views. The lunch provided (meat, rice, lentil soup, azeribaijani bread, salad, tea) was the best meal I have had in my 5 days in azerbaijan. The meat was tender, the soup was perfectly spiced and the tea was refreshing and soothing. Again, out of all tours done in Azerbaijan, this one without a doubt was the best value for money tour considering all the things that were inclusive of this tour. Thanks for showing me the beautiful side of Azerbaijan on my first ever visit.

Our guide Murad was professional, accommodating and friendly. The roads are the worst thing in this trip especially when the driver is speeding and the car is full. You will enjoy a lot but be aware that this trip is not suitable for kids.
