A beautiful setting. The boat is smaller and more intimate that the other vessels operating in the same arena. The food and service is good. The river at night is quite an experience. The wine isn't great and I'm my opinion overpriced. However you can make that statement about the wine good or bad throughout the entire country. The trip really is good value particularly compared to the cost of the wonderful restaurants that can be found in Bangkok. I recommend this tour.
Why go for a massive, buffet style cruise, tacky decoration and lights, when you can have an amazing evening with the Apsara Dinner Cruise? Believe me, the few dollars you are saving are not worth it.
Yes, this is expensive compared to the other dinner cruise. But yes, it is worth every penny. I can see other dinner cruises packed with people with little privacy. This tour really gives you a 5-star dining experience, more private space, especially if you take it with your spouse. The crew is great, and the food is good. They also give you ample time to take a picture in front of the Grand Palace. It started to rain when we completed the cruise, and the crew helped us by providing umbrellas and helping us to get taxi back to the hotel. This extra service is beyond my expectation.
One cautiory note: the cruise can be very windy, so please bring a wind breaker. Or adjust your clothing. My wife and I was a bit sick the next morning due to the heavy, slightly-cold slightly-wet, wind.
Amazing food and great service, all tables have a good view of the river, highly recommended for a different dining experience.
Went with my 11 year old daughter who is a bit of a picky eater. Staff and chef made sure she had enough things to eat. The set menu was fantastic.
We loved it! Amazing food, excellent service and a great way to see the city!
This was an excellent dinner cruise. The food was amazing and the staff very attentive.
This was a wonderful with quiet music and a wonderful dinner. There were many people at the pier and the boat didn't show up till the exact boarding time and at pier 3 not 2, but the peers are next to each other. It was a little over priced I felt, but would do it again because of the wonderful staff and a beautiful way to end our stay in Bangkok.
My husband and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening on this dinner cruise. The food and service were very good. The setting was small and intimate. It was enjoyable to see the lights of Bangkok from a small private boat as opposed to the large buffet dinner boats we saw going by us. Yes--we did pay a bit more than them, but not that much considering what you got. Others have complained that the cost of drinks was high, and our course they are not included in the price. I think it's important that you know that ahead of time so that you are not surprised at the end. Also--if you take a taxi before or after the cruise, make sure they are metered.
Unlike other dinner cruises in Bangkok this one is really different. There are only about 40 people making it very intimate and enjoyable. Its not buffet style and the food is really good.
Wonderful way to spend our last night. Small boat...not the huge party boats with noise and music. Table service...wonderful food. Like being in a great Thai restaurant. They even made sure at the end that we got to a cab to get back to the hotel. Only confusing part was finding the place to leave from...lots of other boats and many people. It was a highlight of our trip
A great evening that can be for family, friends or romantic couples. It isn't a huge party boat which we loved. Nice music, opportunity to take photos, attentive staff and great food. I am allergic to seafood which has given me problems in the past in places. They took notice of this and when food was presented I either had something different or they advised me which dishes not to eat. Staff very friendly and a nice smooth boat trip. Drinks are not included, so you need to make allowance for this. Also, when we went there were building works outside River City so the sign was partly obscured and we missed it so spent time hunting for the dock. A recommended evening.
Nice cruise, nice meal, nice dinner. Small boat with the right amount of people and Thai music in Background, Staff is very professional and kind. If i have the chance, i will do the same cruise.

The tour was great! Recommended to do with loved ones either as a couple or in a small family setting. The boat is not as big as some other cruises and the food is not buffet but the food served was fantastic and the service staff are top notch! They catered to our meal requests and were very attentive and helpful.
The cruise was nice. Good too spicy for my taste. It would have been nice to hear more variety of music.
enjoyed the dinner cruise as the staff were great and so was the food. the instruction on the voucher was for smart casual but there were a couple of men in shorts, flip flops and t-shirts. so it would have been better for us to dress similarly as the weather in thailand is tropical and humid. the instruction on the voucher stated pier 2, we nearly missed our departure because viator was not updated to the changes or renovation done to city river mall. i would presume that a pier was added to the length of the boardwalk such that instead of having two piers, it became a three piered boardwalk. the direction inside the mall would direct you for pier 1 and 2 to gate one. which we then proceeded. but as time closed to 745 and sighting no apsara, i decided to walk around to a pier at the other end of the boardwalk. that should have been designated as pier 3. right on that pier stood apsara by banyan tree. the gate leading tho this pier is written as gate 2. so direction should be given as proceed to gate 2. because if instructed to proceed to pier 1, the signs would lead you to gate 1 which is at the other end. i hope viator clarifies this confusion and save your customers from heart attacks.
it was great, except to pay 260 baht for a local beer and 400 baht for a glass of cheap wine is stupid and then to put service of 10 percent and the 7 percent vat is kind of silly. Its so wonderful otherwise and a lovely night out!
Lovely food and great night up until they hit you with a drinks bill at the very end. They even charge for coffee/tea at the end of the meal plus really expensive bottles of water. This really spoilt it for us.
