A Bangkok river cruise is a luxurious way to view main attractions—including the Grand Palace and Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)—illuminated at night. During your Chao Phraya River dinner cruise, feast on a buffet of authentic Thai dishes while watching the lit-up city skyline pass by. Relax as the live band provides the ambiance.
  • Dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok
  • Enjoy a buffet of authentic Thai cuisine
  • See the illuminated silhouette of Wat Arun as you cruise slowly along the river
  • Take photos of the stunning Grand Palace lit up after dark
  • Romantic setting makes for a great date night!
  • Opt for hassle-free hotel transfers from central Bangkok
Start your Chao Phraya River cruise with hotel pickup in central Bangkok, if you've selected this option. Your guide drives you to the waterfront and accompanies you aboard a luxurious riverboat for a leisurely dinner cruise on this major waterway. Otherwise meet at the pier.

Find a seat in the warmly furnished dining room, or head out to the deck to see the illuminated Bangkok skyline slip past. As the boat drifts along, your guide points out top landmarks lining the banks of the Chao Phraya; admire the 17th-century Temple of Dawn, known as Wat Arun, and see Bangkok’s famous Grand Palace—even more dazzling when lit up at night.

Treat yourself to the large buffet of Thai dishes and desserts, then settle down for dinner while you listen to a live band and other entertainers.

After disembarking the boat, complete your excursion at your original departure point.

Disappointing Dinner Cruise
, Feb 2020
This did not meet my expectation. I was hoping to see Bangkok by night with a leisurely dinner but it turned out to be a party trip. I did not join this to be part of a singing and dancing party. I could have done it for far less cost elsewhere in Bangkok.
Bad service
, Jan 2020
I was visiting Bangkok for the first time and decided to book a tour for a Dinner Cruise on the Chao Phraya River and waited excited along with 4 other friends after this trip in the Hotel lobby for 2 hours after be picked but nobody from the company contacted us, I have sent a few emails to Viator and never received a feedback. There are bad manners not to reply on post that are sending to you even in the case of a complaint. I can not advise anyone to use this company after my experience in communicating with Viator
A bit disappointing
, Oct 2019
We were really looking forward to this trip, but were somewhat disappointed with the experience. Although late, out pickup was ok except for the driver having his family in the van with him. (I’m not sure whether this is allowed by the company though). The rest of the trip wasn’t the best. We had a terrible downpour of rain and there was a mini stampede to get on the boat because of this, meaning there was lots of pushing and shoving and no orderly que which we felt was unsafe being near open water. The buffet style food was mediocre and again, no organisation to how it was served meant that it was a free for all. Slough the food was plentiful, it wasn’t that tasty sadly. I’m hoping this was just a bad day for the company, as it really wasn’t the best advert for you.
Fun and relaxing way to see Bangkok at night
, Oct 2019
This was a great way to see the temples all lit-up. The food was good and the entertainment ok. It was relaxing and enjoyable.
Average at best
, Aug 2019
The cruise is chaotic. There are SO many people doing SO many cruises as to make it rather unpleasant. But the food is good, if somewhat hurried. You get the feeling that you are part of a process to push through as many people as possible, not the ideal way to spend a nice quiet evening meal in Bangkok.
waiting time too long and was so hot and crowded

should have more Thai food like mango stickers rice and more thai deserts. Entertainer was great, we have a chance to dance with the group and that brightens our day
Value for Money but ...
, Jun 2019
Really fun experience on board the dinner cruise. Pros: First, Food was good. Not many selection but the choice is good enough and it is indeed delicious. I really love the spicy shrimp soup and fresh steamed prawns too. They replenish fast too. Second, Entertainment was amazing! There was a mini band, singer, host, cabaret show with really gorgeous looking individuals, song and dance and the finale was a rounds of dance. Really amazing fun time there after the meals. Smoking area available and toilets are clean too. Thumbs up for these. The night view, unless you’re sitting along the window, you won’t be able to see the view largely. But you’re still able to see it. Cons: No line for entering the cruise. It was messy. Everyone pushing one another to get to the entrance. What could be done better to solve this, probably, having neat lines to board the cruise which is safer too. Safety would be better went walking up and down the boardwalk. Saw an elderly man with walking stick and I freaked out. Food for thought. Overall!!! Good experience!!! Might do it again but surely I’ll share my amazing experience with my friends.
Memorable Time

My wife and I had a memorable time. We enjoyed the food and entertainment. To cap it off, we had great view of Bangkok's evening lights along the riverbanks.
Ok Dinner Cruise but nothing special

Unfortunately heavy rain for virtually the entire cruise made this less enjoyable than we had hoped since it was very difficult to take photos of Bangkok's night lights. Food was ok but nothing special & less organized than we have seen other places. Live music & dancers were entertaining.

It was our last night in Bangkok where we thought we had a romantic dinner on this beautiful river. But instead of that, we were parked on cruise with ilmannered people for dinner, who seemed to have never seen food!!
