Nice ride and good service.
After I arrived and cleared custom, I walked to the arrival hall, supposed someone is holding a sign with my name to let me how can I find my transportation. I have to ask the airport staffs to find their information counter and their staff. After a 15 mins. wait, a mini van came and we boarded. The van was kind of hot inside and we were told the A/C is on and the temperature will get lower after we get on the highway. Finally, the temperature just keep going up and I ask the driver what's going on, but he speaks no English. When I arrived at the hotel, the inside temperature of the mini van is 35 C.
After going through customs and claiming my bags, I walked out to where the tour pick ups were. I didn't see anyone holding my name sign. There were so many tour guides on both sides. I did see my name sign hanging on the gate, so I ended up asking a tour guide and pointing to my sign. She was with a different tour company, but new exactly who my tour guide was, she advised me she will be right back and told me to stand with my sign over there. That was pretty funny, holding my own name sign, but Hey whatever works. My guide came back, called my driver and walked me outside to where my shuttle was. She was very helpful, gave me maps and info about Bangkok. I was the only one in the shuttle, the driver didn't speak English, but knew which hotel to drop me off. It was a very interesting ride, as the driving in Bangkok is CRAZY!!!! That was an experience, but made it to my hotel in one piece.
Great to have after a long trip!
