This ended up been a private with a very good guide who took me places i did not know existed. I had a great day even though it rain for most of the morning. The tou ranged from a big boat to BTS Train to a smaller boat on the Canals and a Tuk Tuk, great day
This tour was nothing less than sensational! Sara, our guide had a fantastic knowledge of Bangkok and the places we visited were wonderful. We learnt so much about the Thai culture and the importance of the Royal family. It was great to travel the city just like the locals and it made us confident enough to then do it by ourselves later. Sara was an outstanding host and as we were the only ones on the tour with her, she made our day extra special by being a great photographer. Thank you, Sara.
We had not been to Bangkok before and this provided an excellent introduction not only to the many forms of transport but also to different aspects of life in this bustling city. Our guide, Toom, provided a personalised, insightful tour and a great recommendation for lunch at a family run restaurant. This tour includes the must see sights of which the Grand Palace is the top tourist attraction, whilst heaving with tourists, it would be remiss not to visit this awesome complex
I took this tour during my second day in Bangkok and i am happy i did. My personal guide Sara was lovely. She picked me up at my hotel early in the morning and we headed over to the park, where the local population spends some quality time with family and friends. We took the sky train to the museum, visited the palace and stoped by many interesting destinations. My guide was very knowledgable, professional and pleasant. It felt like you have a family member showing you around and taking pictures together. I would highly reccommend this experience. If you are lucky enough to get a guide like Sara, your Bangkok experience will definitely be positive.
Natta was our guide and he was super friendly, calm, knowledgeable, and obliged us with taking pictures as we wanted them which was great. This is a great first day in Bangkok tour. We travelled by Tuk tuk, skytrain, 2 types of commuter boats which was an invaluable experience. Also this helps you learn the Skytrain which is a great way to get aro,und Bangkok. We did the early Lumpini park tour which I recommend as the park is really pretty. It was only my husband and I with Natta so it was basically a private tour. The only caveat I would point out is that in Wat Pho they are only scheduled to take you the laying Buddha. If you want to see more of Wat pho Which I did you really have to ask. Natta had no issues with us looking around more since I wanted to see more of the temples inside and buddha statues. Overall though I would definitely recommend this tour. You see Jim Thompson house, Royal palace grounds, and Wat Pho along with lumpini park. Tour ended around 4pm.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We learnt not only about the sites, but about life in Bangkok. Ling was the best!!
Great but very tiring day out - experienced every mode of transport which was fun. Trip turned out to be private so the two of us had our very own informative guide. Took us of track to see how the monks bowls are made by locals on a street corner. Also took us to a wonderful cafe for lunch.
This is a good trip to take on day 1 in Bangkok. After this, you need to ask NO one how to get around, as you will know it all! It also covers important sightseeing places.. and the guide is a perfect person to ask all your questions to in a new country. Go for it!
Amazing tour and introduction to Bangkok! We got to see so much and take different types of transportation. Ann, our tour guide, was amazing! She was very informative and didn't rush us at all.
Highly recommend this trip, you get to see a lot of the city in one day! We had a lovely tour guide Tommy, there was only my husband and I so it was very personal. Would definatly recommend this tour .
My husband and I did this tour with a private guide, and it was a great day! We did so many different things, and taking the various forms of transportation was really fun. We had been to Bangkok before, so the guide made sure that our tour included things that we hadn't seen before. We had a ball! We highly recommend you try a tour like this!!
A great way to spend 1 day in Bangkok. Our guide, Johnny, deserves more than 5 stars. He was by far the greatest part of our week in Asia. His love for the land and people, personal knowledge of history and geography, and his personal relations ability were all exceptional!
This is a must do tour if its your first visit to Thailand. You will get to travel by public transport including the BTS, river boat, canal taxi and tuk tuk. The guide shows you how to use the system i.e. how to buy tickets, where to queue etc and how to negotiate with the tuk-tuk drivers.
We had a great guide, Phanom, who took us to lots of interesting places including the local market. He educated us in Thai customs and etiquette, including lunch at a street cafe and buying street food and drinks, which we would not have been brave enough to do otherwise.
Be aware you are on your feet for a lot of the day - visiting the sites and some walking between them as well. Highly recommended - and we hope you get Phanom as your guide.
Toom was an excellent tour guide! My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and got to see so much in 1 day!! Wonderful!!!
This tour was amazing. Traveled to areas I never would have found. Teaching us how to use the transit system. Enjoyed local foods, rated by Thai Government. A market to see all the ingredients used in all these Thai foods and more. All day. All fun.
A very good introduction to Bangkok with use of Skytrain, river boat and Tuk Tuk. Our Guide, Poom, was very good and had very good knowledge of both the history and the local travel arrangements. A very worthwhile tour especially if on first visit to Bangkok.
This tour is a must-do for the first-timer in Bangkok! We began with an early morning stroll through Lumphini Park where we saw locals engaged in a variety of activities from tai chi to paddle boats to traditional dance. From there my guide Noom and I traveled across Bangkok by means of bus, meter-taxi river boat, tuk-tuk, canal boat and sky train stopping for a detailed tour of The Grand Palace, Wat Pho and The Jim Thompson House. Nooms passion and pride for this city and the knowledge of its history and inner workings was self evident. I got a taste of Bangkok, picked up travel tips and gained the confidence to explore more aggressively on my own and navigate with ease. My expectations were far exceeded in this compliment to an amazing vacation.

My wife, Lourdes and 2 sisters, Tess and Sandra had enjoyed this tour and rated 'E' stands for Excellent. Although lots of walking, very tiring and exhausting, our tour guide NAT was wonderful, friendly, chatty and very informative as she laid out her knowledge about Thailand's history. It was an exciting tour experiencing the use of public transport system firstly Tuk-Tuk ride, canal boat, BTS and BRT. Nat gave us the opportunity to have shopping, as she shown us where to buy cheap items and souvenirs. After dropping us off to our hotel, we have the chance to spend a little bit time with Nat and had dinner with her. To sum it up, I highly recommend this tour to friends in Australia.
