Experience the best of Thai city and country life on this diverse full-day tour led by a private local guide. After pickup at your Bangkok hotel in the morning, travel in an air-conditioned minivan through the sprawling city suburbs and into the beautiful countryside characterized by rice patties, salt fields and plantations. Along the way, learn about Thailand's agricultural industry with a visit to a farmhouse, where you can watch workers extract coconut sugar.

Midmorning, arrive at the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market, located southwest of the capital in Ratchaburi province. Take in the colorful scene of vendors hawking fresh produce and specialty goods out of traditional wooden boats that crowd a historic canal system. Learn about the background of this ‘Venice of the East,’ and get tips on bargaining and buying if you’d like to make any purchases. On the return trip to Bangkok, enjoy a typical Thai lunch and stop at a wood-carving factory for insight into the local crafts industry.

Back in the capital, make the most of your afternoon by visiting three of the city’s most important temples (wats). At the Grand Palace, marvel at the magnificent 151-feet (46-meter) reclining buddha of Wat Pho, see the world’s largest solid gold sitting buddha at Wat Traimit and admire the ornate red-and-gold tiered roof and Carrara Italian marble columns of Wat Benchamabophit. See some of Bangkok's distinctive neighborhoods while traveling between sites, and learn all about the history behind these spectacular places of worship.

Amazing tour. It really made our Bangkok trip. You see a lot in one day; so much so we decided to not see last temple. The restaurant we went for lunch was great as well. I liked that it was a private tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. I highly recommend the tour!

We loved this tour!!! I had an 18 and 15 year old with me and this was by far their favorite tour. Our tour guide, Parichat (SP?) was amazing! She really knew how to interact with my kids and keep things fresh and interesting. Everything from the coconut farm, to the markets, lunch and temples was well organized. Gave us a great view of Bangkok. This is a tour that should be on your must do list.

This tour was great. My wife and I learned more from our tour guide Tony during this tour than we could have imagined. We really enjoyed that we were able to see some real parts of Thailand that the normal tourist doesn't usually get to see like the train market and the inside of a traditional thai house. The floating market was absolutely amazing and Tony was great about showing us street food that tasted absolutely amazing. We also thought the temples were fantastic and again Tony was telling us about the history of the temples, Thailand, and Buddhism. Overall, the personal 1 on 1 attention from our tour guide was great especially when you see tour buses with about 50 guests and only 1 guide on some other tours. We were able to see ALOT of Bangkok's must see attractions with this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Bangkok.
