Loved this tour. Great fun, food and guide.
This was an amazing food tour of Bangkok well worth it, Pang our tour guide was great so friendly and informative. Not only did we learn about the food but she incorporated the history of the temples and we even got on a ferry ride to go across the other side of the water to eat at an amazing restaurant which you wouldn't even known existed. There were 5 restaurants we ate at all amazing and different, such a great tour and great guide! Thanks Pang we will be back for sure!
Both my friend and i thoroughly enjoyed this tour. it lasted nearly 4 hours and the food was generally very, very good. we walked around to places that we had no idea was actually there. would definitely recommend this tour. very good value for money.
and #34;Tiny and #34; was an excellent tour guide! Her English was good. We visited 5 different plsces and sampled 2 differemt dishes st each. Plus a snack in the middle. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone.
We went to China town and had a brilliant time eating fantastic food. Great guide with insights into the local area which are priceless. Absolute must!
It is difficult to translate taste, emotion, and feeling into words however, I will try my best to say that this is one of the best tours that you can take in Bangkok. The tour started promptly and was lead by a local woman named Lucy. She was extremely articulate and friendly and from the first moment until the last moment, she was at our sides explaining local history and local food flavors.
We tried flavors from Central Thailand, Northern Thailand, Northeastern Thailand, and it seems like everywhere in between. Lucy took us to eateries with long histories and unique flavors, and to eateries that tourists simply would not know about. Delicious Thai soup, Thai-Chinese duck, Thai-Muslim curry soup, Pandan leaf custard, and succulent pork are just some of the dishes that you might try.
Finally, what made this tour fantastic was that aside from the excellent food, the history that our guide gave us of Bangkok and the local neighborhood really put the food into a historical context. Just an example district in which we ate in was the love district because of the harmony shared between the drastically different residents.
Highly, highly, highly recommend!
Great fun with Nussi. Lots and lots of food - and it kept coming - didn't need to eat the rest of the day! Nussi also answered other cultural questions that we had. Highly recommend.
The varied food experiences on this tour were really good, the guide even bought us some fresh durian fruit which is for Thai standards quite expensive, so it was really nice to try a little bit of it without having to buy a big chunk. It is a very smelly fruit, but very popular in Thai, so a must try! The only disappointment is that the guide forgot that it was a holiday so one of the restaurants was closed. It was the first day of Buddhist Lent. For vegans, be aware that even though it says there are vegan options, those options are not very good.
What a nice way to explore Thai real food
